Really? How is it violating the rule of cautious editing judgement? Really gonna need way better reasoning to cut this, especially since this is a fairly old page.

Yeah, just 'cause the trope is a source of Moral Dissonance doesn't make it not a trope.

I don't really mind either way. Though they don't seem to attract all that much natter (Far less than I would suspect) and are fairly informative. They could stand to be shortened and read less like essays though.

I agree against the cut. Maybe get rid of the page quote and edit the Real Life section a bit, but other than that, this trope is perfectly valid.

Yeah, change the quote and remove the Real Life section. Hopefully it'll save the page.

The latter specifically mentions physical injury in its trope description, so I'd go for this one.
