Picture I think the picture should be that of a Joker Venom victim. Some comics show the victim laughing and going into a coma on the same page, and the shows also have their moments.
Would it be considered an Invoked Trope if the character dying was having a particularly tragic Friendship Moment with their Heterosexual Life-Partner, when another character jokingly says "Oh, hurry up and kiss her already, Nancy!" purposely intending to make the dying one laugh. And they do.
