Can we only allow examples in which the animal is supposed to act like their real-world counterpart? Listing Funny Animal (or maybe Civilized Animal) or higher examples is certain to land them in the People Sit on Chairs territory, as they're supposed to behave like humans.

Also, does the Shrek 2 example count? Donkey is already capable of doing things that real animals can't do, like talking to humans, so it's just regular anthropomorphism. We should limit this to Nearly Normal Animal and Speech-Impaired Animal examples.

NOTE: This trope is for animals who are meant to act much like a real-life animal, such as a Nearly Normal Animal. Animals who are meant to act like humans, such as a Funny, Civilized, or even a Partially Civilized Animal in some cases, do not count, as that would be as meaningful as a human crying.

But some of the examples listed are Civilized Animals crying.
