Does this trope have to apply specifically to a first kill? So long as a gun, shakiness and crying are involved?*

EDIT: Furthermore, this from the main page caught my attention:

He may feel just as traumatized, but he doesn't drop the weapon and he doesn't cry.

What if he does both? Let's just say this character is an Actual Pacifist, and killing outright put them into a huge Heroic BSoD. Also, it's treated a bit like a Rite of Passage (or at least a forerunner to said character's taking a level in badass, which admittedly, it kind of is) by other characters, but the narrative tone makes it clear that this is a huge Break the Cutie moment for them that they don't quite get over.
