Why hadn't the Horus Heresy series been added yet? It (probably) wraped up in 2018 with **57** main series books. Not counting all the comics, short stories, or audio dramas, or the still ongoing 8 part sequal series
Read Forge of Destiny!Should we say something about the IDW Transformers universe, yes they have had a lot of issues (nowhere near some comics but still) but then the IDW collection hardbacks have steadilly compiled them into far more easy to handle volumes, particularly as the old universe is coming to an end and will soon have a complete archive.
Someone should clear out the Music section—I would, but I don't have the time. I mean—10-15 albums in 30 years counts? Why the hell do concerts have to be figured in, since most musicians do them? Good examples to cut: Bad Religion (Subversion with only 16 releases? How the hell does that work?) Genesis (15 albums, 2 E Ps in how many years?) Ali Project (30 albums in 3 decades. Not that shocking.) Mountain Goats (22 releases, 20 years0 Aphex Twin (7 albums. That's a panic.)
Can the WWE Network/WWE Libraries be added to this list or would that go somewhere else? The libraries contain over 150,000 hours of content from pro wrestling all the way back to the 1940's. If it can be added, does it go under Live Action TV? New Media (since it is an online streaming service)? Or would a separate Pro Wrestling tag be created like on other trope pages?
Can someone add the Malazan Book of the Fallen in Literature? It definitely qualifies, but I don't know enough about the series to write one myself.
Would it be alright to trim The Simpsons example? It seems to go to far in talking about how the show is terrible now.
Could fimfiction.net fit there? It is a site for Brony Fanfic writers and readers.
Are video game examples allowed? I ask because there are no entries for them, even though I can think of four off the top of my head...
Hide / Show RepliesI don't see why they wouldn't be, although I also don't see how you'd have a massive archive to panic about. Still, if you've thought of good examples, then go ahead and add them with sufficient explanation.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. Are video game examples allowed? I ask because there are no entries for them, even though I can think of four off the top of my head...
I am not sure would anyone see this but could [[Browser Narcotic]] result in this trope also?
- Sponge Bob Square Pants has been going for over 10 years now, with 200+ episodes, 5 movies, 13 videogames, 4 shorts, and no end in sight. One can safely skip Seasons 5 and 6, however. After the Sponge Bob movie, the quality of the episodes started declining, fell into a pit during Seasons 5 and 6, and are slowly starting to climb out again.
I want to delete the last sentence of that example, due to opinion. Any objections?
"i'm like the pimpmaster hustledaddy of all snippy bookshrews" -Dave Strider Hide / Show RepliesI don't understand - why is this trope YMMV, when it's based on concrete numbers?
One Nation Under WiFi Hide / Show RepliesDifferent people have different free times.
"i'm like the pimpmaster hustledaddy of all snippy bookshrews" -Dave Strider- As of this writing, Bleach has 48 volumes out and about 20 extra chapters that haven't yet been put into a volume. That brings us to a total of just about 450 chapters. Author Kubo Tite has proclaimed that he wants the series to last at least 10 more years, though this doesn't seem like it's going to happen.
This is definitely out of date. I'm don't follow it, but isn't Bleach on its final arc or something?
Any chance we can work in a link to Exposition Beam, the one tool that solves this problem in-universe (and, I hope, will someday solve it in real life as well)?
Could the DC Animated Universe be added to Western Animation? Considering the sheer number of interconnected shows each running for multiple seasons, that makes a LOT of episodes.
Today, on September 5, I finished reading all of Kevin And Kell. I started back on July 26 (same year.) The older jokes may be a bit dated, but the on-going story is so good that it's more than worth the time spent reading all of the strips.
I just finished updating the webcomics section. Now the page counts are more accurate. And the list is better organized.
Speaking of Archive Panic...just two words — THE INTERNET. Need I say any more?
I believe Unus Annus would be a good example, as I, along with many others, were racing to get caught up before Nov. 13th.
