As I was watching of Tetsukado's episodes, my brother pointed out that he resembles a character from Hajime No Ippo (both boxing characters, both fisherman and love the ocean, their father was passionate about the sea and was in a boating business, etc). While it isn't obviously a direct reference (since the characters have no physical resemblance what's so ever), I wonder if some of the other players on the team are references to characters of other (sport series). While I'm not saying every new player will have a reference to another series but I doubt Tetsukado the only one with this type of similarity.
Unfortunately, all the (sport-related) anime I watched are not relevant with the new players (I've seen tennis,few baseball, and [[Whistle many]] soccer series). Even for this example, I only learned from my brother.
So I'm wondering if anyone else notice any expys for the new team mates?
