How about adding an Adaptational Wimp instance, concerning Moriarti?

He was a badass hand-to-hand fighter in the source material, but here he can't deal with an old man who's armed with nothing but Good Old Fisticuffs. Granted, it's Sean Connery, but still.

Adaptational Attractiveness as well, by the way. He wasn't Quite The Looker in the original.

Seems like Adaptational Wimp fits here, for sure.

"They found Hyde in Paris, where he was "terrorizing the Rue Morgue"."

Particularly hilarious if you've read Edgar Allen Poe's 'Murders in the Rue Morgue', when Allan Quatermain called Hyde a 'monkey'.
