Authors cannot rec their own fic, sorry; see the third guideline on the main Fanfic Recommendations page. You're free to create a wiki article about it, though.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Unfortunately, Telcontar is right. It's a bit of an annoying rule, but you'll have to content yourself with making a page for it first. On the other hand, there's no rule about asking your readers to rec you... it just comes across a little tacky.
Granted, I've been doing just that, but most of my readers aren't very into troping, so there's not much of a chance of me being rec'ed for a while.
well, what's your favorite of your stories? maybe I'll rec it. EDIT:also, arcane, that might belong in shipping.

And several oneshots. The above three are my main/favorites though (and I've got at least one and a half dozen stories up by now, so narrowing it down to three is a little... interesting).
well, i dont work with crossovers on policy, but ill take a look at the others and see if they deserve recs
Yeah, I really didn't think I'd be allowed to rec my own fic. I can't really create a page for it though, as although There Is No Such Thing As Notability, it's a one-shot short story less than 5000 words long. Unless it came to be hailed as the greatest Naruto one-shot ever written (HIGHLY unlikely) I don't think it would ever be deserving of its own page.
Always expect the worst and you can only be pleasantly surprised....don't suppose anyone DOES feel like reading my story and adding it here?
Always expect the worst and you can only be pleasantly surprised.I'll do it, but don't expect a speedy response or a definite affirmative. My standards for fanfiction are ridiculously high, and I'm extremely busy due to school at the moment, so it may take a while.
Am I allowed to add my own story here (The Dream Wedding) or do I have to show it to someone and hope they like it enough to add it? There aren't many entries on this page yet so we have the room, but I don't want to come across as egocentric.
