Could we just move this page to the main Disney villains page? Wouldn’t it make more sense there?
This may be more of a headcannon thing, but i have a feeling that at least some of the enemies (more importantly Shan Yu and Maleficent's Goons) could have at least turned into Heartless after defeat (Maleficent's Goon would have turned into them when her world was swallowed by the Heartless, no longer needing them. Or at least she could have some but still keeping checks on the activity the Heartless does, with a few becoming ones in the process; as for Shan Yu, due to him being able to utilize the Heartless with such ease and also comitting a lot of War before finding them, it's would be safe to assure that Shan Yu's heartless would be like Scar's or Xehanort's. Aka, still keeping up his human form and sapience. But why he doesn't appear on the second visit or after being defeated? Well, he could just have fled to Diyu (the chinese underworld) to lay in silence for a few time before backing up towards domination of China again, maybe now as a Heartless. It could also be in a way mirrored to the [[Mulan/Trivia What could have been]] of the sequel, since it would have shown Shan Yu back as a ghost. It's just headcannoing thinking though.
