Does this page need to be split? It's gotten rather large and it's getting annoying to find the place you want to edit.

I'm moving examples to works pages from the Self-Harm page, and I'm debating whether to add the Buffy example listed there under Dawn's trope listing. It is an instance of self-harm, but its such an isolated incident that I'm not sure its worth putting here, since, for people who don't know the show, it might make them associate Dawn with being a cutter, which she really isn't. Suggestions?

I don't think it qualifies. Cut it.

Is there a reason D'Hoffryn is listed under recurring characters instead of villains? He is evil, even if most of his appearances are benign.

Like Mary Sue, the term is tossed around for any villain anywhere.

Doesn't mean that it should be allowed to happen, especially given that someone is currently attempting to clean up the Complete Monster page—a valiant effort, though doubtlessly doomed to failure. Knowing what I do about the show (which is, admittedly, not a vast amount) I can agree with Angelus and (dear God yes) Caleb being listed as Complete Monsters. They've got no redeeming qualities, aren't played for laughs, darken every episode they're in (hell Caleb managed to darken a season where the Big Bad was a Made of Evil Eldritch Abomination that may very well have been Satan), and are the way they are due to their own free will. Adam though? He was made a monster. For me, that seriously negates any responsibility on his part. Would anyone have a problem with his being removed?

All instances of Complete Monster belong on the YMMV page anyway, so it's a moot point.

Well yes, but removing someone like Angelus, who everyone more or less agrees on (and who does hit every single point on the requirement list) seems really pointless. Same goes for Caleb. Adam, on the other hand, isn't in quite the same calibre. I've taken it off of him; I've left Angelus and Caleb alone. I'm also asking because I'm wondering if he should be removed from the actual Complete Monster page, which I know he's on. I know a lot of people have given up on that trope, but I'd like to believe it's still saveable.

Does Spike's first round of helping Buffy count as a Heel Face Turn? Cause he wasn't trying to be a good guy so much as he was playing one enemy against the other (and being honest about it too)? Is there a Trope for "Enemy of my enemy"?
