  • Child of Light: A young princess looks for celestial objects. Everybody in the world speaks in rhyme. People are divided how well the dialogue is written. But you have to make a stretch for a word sometime.

I have removed the bolded part because it's a piece of complaining that goes against the purpose of these pages. Please do not add it again, Blacksun. For fan debates there's already Broken Base.

To be clear, I wasn't trying to debate anything. I was trying to make it rhyme (as the character dialogue in the game does) and poke a little fun at the game in the process. Yes, I realize now that adding it back would constitute an edit war which I did not consider at the time and have no intention of starting under threat of being banned. Apparently you disagree with this and misinterpreted my intent and I see how that could happen. So, is there an acceptable way to put this that it could be rhyme-y and less... debate? Confrontational? Or should it be left as is?

You can attempt to put the rhyme without bringing up the "people are divided" thing. The point of "Better than it Sounds" pages is to describe works in a way that seems completely mundane, but upon checking the work the reader/viewer/player might like it a lot more than when they read the description here. "Poking fun" at a game by touching upon a fan debate doesn't do any favors to the work you're describing, even if you intend to do it for the sake of rhyming (like I said, you can try it by referring to another aspect of the game, something that doesn't invoke any of the Audience Reactions).

Also, I would appreciate if you didn't call me "Mr. No-Fun Policeman" (via PM). That's absolutely uncalled for.

Okay, fair point. I'll leave it as is.
