Well, I haven't seen it but I know that the main character is a Titan Shifter, meaning at least one of the good guys has superpowers. Sounds like the first character might count, but the second doesn't seem to.

- Voltron: Sven, the original Blue Lion pilot. He survives being nailed in personal combat by a robeast, and survived a plunge from the heights of Castle Doom in good enough condition to fly Blue Lion again.

I think most of the bad guys.
But really, this entire entry should go to Made of Iron.

- Attack on Titan:
- Levi, the biggest badass of the story. Capable of downing multiple Titans alone and utterly dominating the Central Military Police, themselves considered as a Badass Army,, he definitely lives up to his reputation as humanity's strongest soldier. The character databook has his combat skills at 11 out of 10. And he can hold his own against Titan Shifters.
- Sasha. Many characters die fighting the Titans even with special equipment like the 3D Maneuver Gear. She takes on one first with a hatchet and then with a bow and arrows, managing to wound it enough to rescue the young girl it was attacking.
"Similarly, just dealing with the inhuman or strange (that's your zombies, orcs, Alien Invasion and other invocations of Puny Earthlings) doesn't suffice unless there was some other superhero who showed how they needed their powers for the same job." I haven't exacly seen Shingeki no Kyojin but as far as i know no humans have special powers, therefore there is no "badass abnormal" to compare. They have weird enemies, but that's it.
