openTelevision Show from Possibly...the 50’s? Live Action TV
I am on a hunt for an older show from somewhere around the fifties or so. It was in black and white and often reran in the 70’s on Saturdays and Sundays. The show might have featured a man living in a closet or wall of a child’s room. It ended with the family moving away and this man throwing a knife and it sticking to the top of the family’s car. A friend of mine has been searching for the show for many years and has recently brought it up to me. Anything helps!
open80’s or 90’s kids help me out! Live Action TV
I’ve got a movie and a tv show I saw when I was a really young kid (like between 6 and 8) and they have been driving me insane for years. What I remember about the movie is: There’s a giant, I think the main character has his heart in a box or something, and the guy has a horse that the giant wants or wants to eat or wants to kill or something along those lines. I’m pretty sure it ends with the giant dying because the guy stabbed or crushed his heart.
The tv show was like teenage detectives or something, and the episode was in town where everybody is falling asleep and won’t wake up. They end up realising it’s because they’re eating these weird little eggs and then they go into the sleep. The detectives (at least I think that’s what they are, it’s a group of teenagers) get some sort of amulet and one of them goes into the dream with this girl and they end up in a chapel with everyone else that’s asleep but when they try to leave the statue won’t let them out. I think the statue is St Anthony but not sure. Whatever it is, it’s caused a paralysing fear of chapels throughout my entire life
openPlaystation 1 horror game Videogame
So yeah, I'm trying to remember the name of this horror game for the PS 1 that came out probably between 1997 and 1999. The most I remember about it was that it was on a demo disc and it was something like a gothic style setting where you're a character who's able to transform into this demon-like creature. The word Primal keeps coming to mind but nothing on Google is helping me.
openAnimated movie or tv series about future or weird animals Film
I remember watching an animated movie or tv series about future or weird animals. It might have been on animal planet or the Discovery channel, but it featured living boat animals amongst others. Anyone know what it's name was?
openMobile phone advert with dial-tone theme Live Action TV
I distinctly recall an advert, probably for mobile phones way back when, that featured a very prominent "dial-tone"-based theme that repeated throughout the advert. I think it was a BT Cellnet advert but I'm not finding it.
(terrible text-based intepretation) do DOO do-DOO doo, doo, with do being F4 and DOO being G4 or sequence "q|w|qw q||q||q|w|qw q||q" on virtualpiano.net

openChildren's animated 2D cartoon series with blueish color scheme Western Animation
I can't remember any names of the characters, however I do vaguely remember what some of the characters looked like. Most of them were clearly not human, but some did closely resemble one. (Not human, as in, having body features such as clean white faces, bean-like fingers and toes and strange but cute ears and noses.)
One of the characters, which I remember the clearest, was this white-faced kid with monkey ears, wearing a woolly hat. He wandered around dragging a red cart to which he collected invisible stones every now and then.
One was a small flying mixture of a cloud and a showman. This creature's name I think was like "Pom" or "Pou" or something like that and I remember the show's name being very close to the name of one of the characters. Not at all sure though.
Another was this large and tall, eggplant-shaped blueish "thing" with four feet and a cute face and large eyes who could reform their body at will. They also might have had some red and orange polygonal spots scattered around their body if I remember correctly. I also remember a small child who was obsessed with his wooden building blocks which I think there were 13 of them.
The color scheme I think was overall mostly blueish gray and orange.
I was pretty small when I first saw this so that might have affected my perception of everything but I remember the events of the show being very random, as well as the characters. Everyone did lots of weird things and no-one ever really questioned anything.
This aired in Finland and I watched it somewhere around 2004-2009 and I have absolutely no idea whether it was an originally Finnish cartoon or just dubbed.
openWhat kids tv show was this? Western Animation
I think i watched it in the early to mid 2000s in either cartoon network or Discovery kids.
It was a sci-fi ish (more like sci fantasy probably) show about a space crew and their adventures. The crew were different races which gave it a Farscape vibe.
I remember two of the characters. One was the captain or the elder, looked like a gnome with white beard. The other was a girl with butterfly like wings that could fly. I think she had purple hair.
It had a very distinct visual style. I think it was either stop motion or puppets. Im inclined to say it was stop motion and there was some CGI.
The tone was fairly light. Any ideas?
openCant remember please help Live Action TV
I'm trying to remember a tv show. Not sure if it was time travel or alternative dimension traveling. Started a Male teen with an older guy. Antagonist was a black Male in a red robot suit. Towards the end the black Male helps the teen and the older guy becomes the antagonist. I remember some type of machine clock on the ground. The last scene is the teen holding a girls hand and as they hold hands there is a minor electric shock. I remember watching it in the 90s. It was sometime between 1995-2000 I remember watching it.
openFantasy show with characters that have special powers? (I think?) Anime
I used to know this anime's name but I forgot about it. All I can remember from some clips I've seen is this supporting/minor character.
This character is an 11-13 year old boy who has some type of special powers. I think the special powers is at least psychic related; if it's not telekinesis, it might be some type of ability to see spirits. I don't really remember what type of power it is, but it's somewhat similar. In the scene I watched, I think there's the motif of a bell hanging or some type of string (maybe on a tree? or was it a kite? I don't remember). The boy meets a middle-aged man. I know the boy dies.
The boy is voiced by a female seiyuu. I'd like to say the seiyuu might be Yuko Sanpei but I heavily doubt it. However, I know that the show received an English dub. It may not be a mainstream anime show. Pretty sure the show is about spirits and people with special powers. Part of the setting takes place in a city in Japan. I know these hints may not be helpful, but anyone who has an idea of what show it possibly is please let me know thanks!
openVideo game where "You are what you eat"? Videogame
I remember playing a game on miniclip with the premise of "You are what you eat". It had a Fez style of pixel art (The main character was very similar). Eating different foods gave you different powers (The only one I can remember is eating broccoli would allow you to fart as a double jump).
openGuy that challenges experts in their own disciplines
There was this show where a "normal guy" challenged experts in different disciplines (like motorbike, cooking, violin etc), he prepared the challenge so that he could have some kind of advantage. What was the name?
openCard playing game show Western Animation
So there used to be a show where characters consciousnesses would be split in half, one which stayed in the real world and the other would go to a virtual world. The virtual world was where players would go to play a trading card game (like Yugioh). I know it was on Jetix, at least for a while. The characters were of a redhead teenager with glasses, a girl, another guy and the protagonist was mixed race(?), though I can't remember much else about the show.
openSet in the future, then time travel back to modern times
There are super (maybe advanced, maybe aliens?) humans and the regular humans. For some reason, a huge group of people (like thousands) time travel back to modern times, but they land in water because in their time they're on land but the past (modern time) is in water. Loads of them die leaving only like 40ish left to survive. I know its on hulu, and I think the title is something like "the o_______" And everything I mentioned happened in the first 2 episodes.
openSummer Show
This was a summer tv in the early 2000s in which a bunch of teenage boys run around pulling pranks on each other, play games, and do sketches in their neighborhood. I feel like it was show and edited by the lead teenager who the show was named after (the teenager name show). I think it was on something like ABC family or fox family only one summer. I feel like the guy had submitted a tape and won a contest or something to get the show on. I think the song Lukewarm by New End Original was featured on one episode—there was an artist featured every episode.
openIt's going to kill me if I don't remember this show! Live Action TV
When I was younger, about mid 2000's, I remember watching this show. It was about a team of 3, two boys, one girl. One boy was black, the other was white. The girl was white as well. It had a lot of alien and mutant-like creatures in the show. also, for some reason, one character made a machine that made every food taste like chicken fingers. And, if I'm not mistaken, the title had the word, "force" in it.
openSeries of animated shorts aired on tv sometime in the mid 2000s Film
So this might be a challenge, but -
I remember a series of animated shorts that was aired on, I believe, spike TV or maybe Bravo or some other smaller cable channel sometime in the mid 2000s. It featured two animated characters, both men, both a little old, one skinny and one fat. I think they were wearing white tank tops and either a beret or a newsboy hat. The show/special featured short animations, and the two men would talk about them inbetween the animations.
It was not spike & mike's twisted festival of animation, I don't think, but i'm not ruling it out - it's been on for 30 years but it's hard to tell what year it would be. probably before 2006, let's say.
The animations may have been made all around the world, I remember that being the reason why they were compiled into a special. I only remember one animation shown in the collection:
it was claymation, and a clay man was sitting in a chair, in front of a table full of food or something similar. He was overeating, and there would be shots of the inside of his stomach, simplified and stylized as filling up with yellow clay stars. Eventually his stomach rapidly fills up with these stars, so much that he farts a hole in his chair. He picks up the chair in front of his face and looks through the hole, at the camera.

Takes place in a world where the sun and moon have stopped moving, and a knight must take part in a ritual to restart them. He goes to a desolate, ruined temple inhabited by living statues who put him through several trials. In one trial, he fights a giant, mechanical, dragon-like puppet. In the end, he completes the ritual at the cost of his own life. He sits on a throne at the center of the temple, and it impales him with spikes that suck out his blood, powering a mechanism that moves the sun and moon. It is suggested that after many years, when his blood runs dry, he will be replaced by another knight who goes through the same ritual.
The film is 20-30 minutes long. I saw it on Vimeo about three years ago, but I can't find it anymore. I think the title was in French or Spanish.
