Depends, I think. What do you mean by "real life quotes"? If they're real people discussing the trope itself, it's probably fine, but if it's putting the trope into a real-life context, that's a no.

There was one I was planning on writing on Hair-Trigger Temper that says:

I had my patience tested, I'm negative
T-shirt saying.

Is this ok?

I think because it's a T-Shirt Quote, then it's probably okay, since it's not "real life" but more like...Advertising or Comedy. It's a joke, not reality.

True, what if a person is obviously just pretending to be the trope but it's clear they aren't really like that e.g

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt, then it's hilarious! — T-shirt saying.

I will delete if it's not ok.

I think that's okay too. Quoting T-shirt slogans overall is okay regardless.

I'm pretty sure text on a shirt counts as a work, at least in a loose sense. NRLEP is more concerned with what real people say or do regarding either themselves or other real people.
