Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Depends, I think. What do you mean by "real life quotes"? If they're real people discussing the trope itself, it's probably fine, but if it's putting the trope into a real-life context, that's a no.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThere was one I was planning on writing on Hair-Trigger Temper that says:
- I had my patience tested, I'm negative
Is this ok?
Edited by BootlebatI think because it's a T-Shirt Quote, then it's probably okay, since it's not "real life" but more like...Advertising or Comedy. It's a joke, not reality.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessTrue, what if a person is obviously just pretending to be the trope but it's clear they aren't really like that e.g
- On the Chaotic Evil page I put
I will delete if it's not ok.
I think that's okay too. Quoting T-shirt slogans overall is okay regardless.
Edited by Excessive-Menace THE GOLDEN AGE WILL RETURN AGAIN!I'm pretty sure text on a shirt counts as a work, at least in a loose sense. NRLEP is more concerned with what real people say or do regarding either themselves or other real people.

I've seen it on numerous pages, but it could just be a common error.
