Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

No. We don't trope people, we trope their works and works they appear in. Besides, this would be misuse of Ensemble Dark Horse, which stands for minor characters who become unexpectedly popular despite having little or no importance to the plot. Applying such trope to real people would only lead to exaggerated flattery. By the way, we have a cleanup thread for this trope.
Edit: Weird. I actually did find a trope that comes pretty close to "Creator is exceedingly popular": Creator Worship.
Edited by TantaMontyFace Of The Band seems similar in some aspects, but is less about worship and more about "this is the guy people think of first".
"Come on! Let's get this show on the road."^^ The person is not that level of popular yet but thanks anyways for the response.
Ensemble Dark Horse is already listed on No Real Life Examples, Please! (under Narrative, Characterization, and Plot Tropes), so those examples should be deleted.
Edited by GastonRabbit Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.
I know the trope is meant to be applied to characters in a show itself, but with how easy it is nowadays for crew members, writers, directors, etc to interact with the fans and give insight on what goes on behind the scene or interesting info in general that it's sometimes led those people to become as popular in the fandom as the characters they're helping to create.
