Trope misuse? Anime

I was looking through the page of Memes.Yu Gi Oh Arc V when I ran into two entries that go along these lines

• Carded: shorthand for being turned into a card
• Berserk Mode: a fan-created term to describe a very specific Unstoppable Rage state. (The actual entry is much longer, but that's what it boils down to)

Thing is... Aren't those Fan Speak instead of memes? Or are memes and Fan Speak one and the same?

Memetic Mutation and Fan Speak/Fan Nickname are two completely different things.
