Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
See How to Create a Work's Page.
You also want to see Auto-Erotic Troping and The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours- as the writer, you're limited as to what you can add to the work's page.
Edited by WarJay77 Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIf it's not published yet, you have to follow the Unpublished Works guidelines (laconically: until it gets published anywhere, you can only have the main work page in the DarthWiki/ namespace and you can't link it anywhere).
Also, since you're troping your own work, you have to make sure not to fall into Auto-Erotic Troping.
And yeah, The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours — if you later decide you actually don't want the wiki page, too bad, it's up and it can't be deleted.

^ Why apologize?
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessBecause I personally would not want to create a page for my own work, which I have already published. I was hoping that someone would read my work and create it. But so far...
If you want to get someone else to make a page for your work... well, ATT isn't the place to ask for that, but your author's notes might be.
That said, this is a wiki. Pages get made because someone wants to make them.
Though there is the List of Shows That Need Summary.

I have a fanwork that I'm writing, and I'd like my work to be mentioned on Tvtropes, or have its own page. How can I do that?
