Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Just readd them. No big deal, right?
It could cause an edit war. Dont be so rude.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Reverting someone else's edits alone isn't an edit war and this sounds like an issue for the discussion page rather than ATT, anyway.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI just posted to the discussion page, but if they didn't answer a PM, they're not gonna respond to that.
Well, here's my two cents...
I would add the entries back, but hide the spoilers. Yes, even though it's an old and popular show, and you may personally believe that anyone who's interested in it has already seen it... but that's not necessarily true. So yes, even though It Was His Sled, you still hide spoilers.
As Septimus said, correcting vandalism (well, at least "bad edits") isn't edit warring.
However, if the other person comes back and deletes the entries again, then come here, because re-adding them at that point would be edit warring.
We don't hide spoilers for a prior work on a sequel's page. It has nothing to do with It Was His Sled.
Oh, I didn't realize it was on the sequel's page. Okay then. Yeah, don't worry about spoilers then, since theoretically anyone watching the sequel probably saw the original first.
I went ahead and restored the cut examples.
Marco Polo 250 trimmed down and cut multiple examples from ReBoot: The Guardian Code for apparently no reason.
The only edit reason they gave was "Spoilers", but the only spoilers they cut were from the original series, which don't even need to be hidden, let alone cut entirely. And not every change was spoiler-related anyway.
I PM'd them a couple of days ago but they have not responded.
