I agree with Synchronicity on Genre Savvy. However the way it's described here I might also look at Leaning on the Fourth Wall or even No Fourth Wall may also apply.

I can think of this happening in two works from separate media: the metaphysical detective noir Something More Than Night, and the premiere of Black Mirror Season 4.
Related to dangerously genre savvy, The idea is that the characters earn their happy ending by realising they are part of their given genre, then weaponizing its tropes to subvert the narrative. The more I think about it, Dangerously Genre Savvy might just be the best way to describe it.
