Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

I assume so. What else would they be for?
I got one of them deleted for being JAFAAC but Eddie reverted it. So no.
They are supposed to be illustrate the trope. However, they are not held to the same standard of "illustrate the trope with little to no explanation needed", because you can add explanation on the Image Links pages. For instance a picture that would not be acceptable as a page image because it's JAFAAC can have a couple of sentences identifying the work and why they're an example of the trope. Or you can add a bit of explanation of the context of a single frame.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Would Image Links for media, rather than tropes, be acceptable?
I think it's just pictures. See the Image Links Wiki page for some guidelines. EDIT Ah, you mean work pages, not video links. The drift of Image Links Wiki indicates it is for tropes — and the majority of existing pages are for tropes.
Edited by CamacanThere are a few work pages that have an Image Links page (Team Fortress 2, for instance), but I'm not sure how condoned they are.
Seeing as the Pokémon image link page is basically Fanart Pimping, I think there should be some sort of guideline.
Are the pictures in the image link sub page supposed to illustrate the trope?
