Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
If you're asking for questions on how to format it, then it should be made under the Video Game namespace, and after the title of the game collection (So, VideoGame.Name Goes Here). It's basically the game version of a book anthology or poetry collection, which typically all go on the same page until there's enough content for an individual page for perhaps some of the minigames.
Edited by lakingsif OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!i am asking what trope would define this kind of game.
I dont think there is one, because it's Too Rare To Trope.
You did say they were united by a gameplay style. If you mean, for example, that they're all platformers, then Platform Game would be the "unifying" trope.
I believe that it is a Minigame Game.
No, Choices is a collection of visual novels. Definitely not a minigame game.
I agree, it's too rare to trope. It's not really all that much different from a normal series page, anyway.
Hey, I'm starting a page for a game that contains a collection of rather unconnected games within. Each game has it's own story and genre; you can only play these "sub-games" from within this game, Choices: Stories You Play. The only thing each game shares is gameplay style; apart that they are separate and have their own stories, characters, and work pages.
I've googled "tv tropes game collection" but nothing contained what I appeared to be looking for. You guys have any ideas?
