Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
That sounds uncomfortably close to troping the artist instead of the work.

What about the last part of the entry for Heartwarming Moments, which basically just describes the artist thanking readers for reading the comic?
"Humans and robots living together in harmony and equality. That was my ultimate wish."That bit just describes the author thanking the reader. It's not dealing with the author's life. The tearjerker is.
On YMMV.Sparklecare, someone deleted the Tear Jerker entry I wrote, saying I was "objectifying the artist's trauma". For context, it was a meta example of a Tear Jerker, in that the artist revealed that they started writing the webcomic (which is about a demented hospital) to cope with a traumatic experience they had at a real hospital.
I don't really understand how I was "objectifying" it. Are meta examples of Tear Jerker and similar YMMV tropes not allowed? Was the last sentence of the Tear Jerker entry a bit too much?
