I don't know of anything, but maybe the YKTTW could be expanded to cover that situation?

Well, the example I have in mind, per the Sampling page description, is actually using Interpolation - the melodies are taken from other songs, but it's a new recording rather than a reuse of the original recordings. A look at the other wiki suggests that it might be more of a Sound Collage.

Might look at Musical Pastiche as at least a sister trope to the other part.
