Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Ensemble Dark Horse is NRLEP, so I'm pretty sure the entry needs to be deleted outright (unless I'm missing something here).
The example concerns the person's actions within the let's plays. In my view at least, he's playing a character, and the example is relating to the character he is pretending to be on the videos, so it's not a real life example. At least, that's how I view it based on what I've read from the NRLEP page concerning Reality TV, to which the actor's life outside the show isn't catalogable, but their life seen through the show is.
There's been a lot more scrutiny on here when it comes to Let's Players and whether they're playing an actual "character" or not. Secondly, if this friend of his was a regular guest on his videos, he can't be an ED, since it doesn't fit the criteria.
We do have a ED clean-up thread, so that might be a better place to ask about it.
Noted, thank you. I will ask on there.
Content Warning for abuse, in case anyone needs that.
The edit reason is "Due to controversy mentioned in Harsher in Hindsight, I do not think it is appropriate to paint Bearded Expense in a positive light on Sound Smith's (a victim of his) page." While I don't like the guy either, I think it's a bit much to remove the trope entries entirely due to out-of-universe drama.
I'm considering restoring the second example and re-writing the first to remove the chained potholes and adding an acknowledgement that he's not this trope anymore:
Is this OK to do?
