As your friendly neighborhood Admin Team, the gang here at TVTropes HQ is always working to improve the site.
Many of those improvements begin with suggestions posted right here, on the Community Wishlist. Is there a feature you really want on TVTropes? Post it.
Is there something we could be doing better? We want to know. Do you think we look fat in these pants? We were totally afraid of that. See a bug? Report it.
Important things to know:
- We're all about that content-creation life! The top contenders for our attention are ideas that'll create more content, like the video uploading feature, or speed up launching new pages. On the flip side, design or layout tweaks won't be our top priority.
- Help us dig through the goldmine of old wishlist items! If you have an old request gathering dust or spot one you're totally on board with, give it a bump and a like. There's a treasure trove of 6+ years' worth of ideas just waiting to be rediscovered. Items without enough love may not make the cut and will be closed.
- Was your wishlist item locked up without an explanation? It was most likely disapproved or just too big of a task versus the benefit it would ultimately have. Time is precious, and we want to focus on updates with the biggest bang for the buck. Don't be discouraged though! We appreciate every idea and we're always listening.

Sorry, I really don't mean to be confrontational on this. But I am a foreign language speaker and I really don't see how TVT wants to be multi-linguistically inclusive with a language standard that is linguistically exclusive...
I understand that it would mean:
- it is a difficult process
- of lengthy duration
- on possibly TBs worth of data
all fair reasons to avoid it altogether — my understanding comes from both software engineering and archiving efforts.
However, based on this, I have noted myself several changes of settings that I've had to do on my browser just to use this site — I'm fairly certain there are others who have encountered them but lacked means to explain the problem in English.

After having numerous issues with encoding trying to get the editing toolbar
to work, the site owner decided to convert the database. They just made a post in wiki talk discussing the upcoming changes to the database and login system outage.

Double-checking, it's available in ATT, TF and YKTTS, but not in Query Wishlist and Query Bugs, may be a bug.

I don't think it is a bug, I mean, how would devs track accomplished/close/working entries if they are constantly being reopened or closed by other people. (this is how bug-trackers actually work after all)

I'd think the site would use own tracking tool, but considering low priority suggestions get locked I suppose queries are actually used to mark progress.
Anyway, I'll stop here before going off-topic.

Also, as a closing thought to this, mentioned this on the conversion thread, but I'll post here too: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode_font - should help with the monospace problem. However, one can still set a monospaced font family in the css for the editing textbox, and it should quickly force the browser to use system fonts of that kind.
Ya the wishlist and bugs sections are different and don't have toggles for regular users. They are much much slower sections so its easy for me to maintain. The other mods also have access to the dropdown if needed.
This wishlist query has been fulfilled. Check the Changelog or the Wiki Talk Changelog Thread for a full list of recent updates.
Please remember to like and bump any new or old wishlist queries you think deserve attention so i know what the community needs me to work on moving forward.

I wish for better foreign language character support on TVT.
This is all based on what I actually thought was a bug at first so I made a report, long story short, it is only a bug by lack of a feature — which is the point of this request.
