They're a sporadic editor
with seemingly no other activity on the site, so it's possible they haven't even looked at any notifiers they've been given.
I removed the image they added and sent them a PM.
For the record, you linked the IP thread, but there's no evidence that they actually were notified about it. They didn't go to the thread when it was up and unless someone P Med them about it, they wouldn't know.

Well yeah it wasn't, that's why it was voted out in the discussion thread. No good image suggestions showed up. The Turtles were also considered and dismissed.
so how do we add an image to a trope then? does that mean i need others' opinions first?

well, tbh, i was the one who took out the original trope image. can i please see the Image Pickin link.
For the record, Prickly, removing the image twice (the second time being after a mod notice was put to not add anything and you ignored it) was incorrect in both cases. As others have said, you cannot unilaterally add or change images unless you start a thread.
And there doesn't have to be an image at all if there's one that doesn't fit. The one that you added was deemed insufficient and deleted.

Prickly Clypeasteroid has yet again changed the image for Four-Man Band, adding another image of TMNT, even after having been notified
. They've also been making a lot of ensemble-based edits in general with no edit reasons, like here
and here
