The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
Unit Confusion is the closest thing I could find to that trope, so I think it might be a good idea to either go to the Trope Repair Shop and suggest expanding Unit Confusion or to just YKTTW confusing English and metric units.
I am not sure about this, but I would guess that the former solution would make more sense than the latter since I doubt there are many examples of using units haphazardly like that. I could be wrong though.

What's the trope for the mixture of units? Like in the original Star Trek where they sometimes use English units and sometimes metric (sometimes in the same conversation). Or that My Little Pony episode where Pinkie Pie is giving Rainbow Dash instructions on positioning a cloud and she randomly jumps back and forth between inches and centimeters. It's not Unit Confusion because the units aren't actually being confused, just employed haphazardly.
