I've definitely seen that in media as a sort of "This is really special, don't drop it, don't lose it" kind of body language meaning. I can't say I've ever seen a trope page for it.

For some reason, I'm picturing this taking place with Carol dead.
I can't believe I'm not finding this one. Alice places a small item of significance in Carol's outstretched hand, then folds Carol's fingers around the item. I've searched every keyword I can think of; do I need to look harder for this?
