Incredibly questionable overall, but I don't think Um Jammer Lammy is even close to a More Popular Spin-Off. The entry doesn't even claim it is; it says it's better, but not that it's more popular.

I'm not familiar with the controversy but the language as it's been edit-warred to now seems to be a comical whitewashing.

Yeah there's more than just the evader going there. Marvig edited one part of the entry and while that is revertible, another section of the page is talking about the author's views as well and is getting edit warred over.
