I would say send them a PM asking what’s up. Their edit history is otherwise normal, so it’s kind of odd they would just blank it.

I've got a reply from them. They removed all of the content on purpose because they didn't think any of the examples were that sad, and that it was just characters being overdramatic.
Even if that's true, surely they should have put the page on the Cut List with a reason like "All examples are misused", or even contended the examples in the "Moments cleanup thread".
Yeah, this should've been discussed, not just blanked.

Noting that the user had a history of outright removing entries without discussing them; they were suspended for it almost 9 years ago.
Please tell them to use the cutlist next time.

I've told them to discuss potentially misused examples to make sure they fit if people aren't sure, and to put a page on the cutlist if all of the examples on it are agreed to be misused, and that what they did was technically vandalism.
Edit: They said they won't do it again, case closed.

Right Ho, Jeeves last week for no reason. I've just restored it.
Worth noting is that if you try to blank a page nowadays (this didn't used to be a thing), a warning will pop up, saying the page is blank, and the edit won't go through. They got around this by leaving nothing but a single bullet point, so it seems like this was deliberate.
