...I feel weird about this.
I don't really understand why he has to choose one or the other. Couldn't he just do Demo Reel the one two weeks, Nostalgia Critic the other? Why does he have to destroy this corner of his universe to set up the Nostalgia Critic? It's a plothole. If the Nostalgia Critic could show up in Nostalgia Chick's videos then he could certainly film from the end of the universe. Also I was really beginning to ship Rebecca and Tacoma.
I guess, mostly, I don't understand why you would limit your options like that. It's totally understandable if you bring up the Nostalgia Critic again every so often. It's your character, why not? A huge part of the backlash against Demo Reel was because it was so sudden a shift, because Doug presumed that his NC fans would be interested in it, and because it just replaced NC like it was the same exact thing. And it's not. It's a completely different creature, and that's okay. It was getting pretty awesome. He could've just made it the Rebecca and Tacoma show if he wanted to.
On the other hand, this is a really good use for Douchey.
yes, so hard.

ophelia, you're breaking my heartIt was basically Ship Central. Just look at Donnie asking for Slash Fic about him. (...which was also pointless, fuck. )
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again. What other ships are out there? I wasn't really in the fandom.

ophelia, you're breaking my heartInterrupting this for a second, does anyone know what Doug's religion is? I assume he was at least raised Catholic, but does anyone know if he still practices any religion?
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.I don't think so.
So is there gonna be a Power Rangers Turbo review now?

METAL GEAR!?Glad you asked! Donnie/Tacoma for the Puppy-Dog Eyes in episode one and cuddling in episode two, Donnie/Rebecca because they're both freaks, Rebecca/Carl and Rebecca/Quinn because they respected her, Carl/Quinn for just another pairing I guess, Donnie/Uncle Yo and Donnie/Egoraptor for obvious reasons, and Donnie/Carl for the swoony "you came back for me".
@kalel Raised Catholic, now agnostic.

I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.Thanks.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.I agree with a lot of the comments about cycling between NC and Demo Reel though I suppose something like that would have incurred useless costs that Doug probably couldn't afford to work with (I mean renting your own studio can't come cheap, right?).
η β π@eme: ...how do you know Doug's religious beliefs?
And we have "Raised Catholic" as a trope? Really?
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.huh. cool!
but at any rate, that's a nest of shipping wasted.

I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you.@Odd I was around on the forums when Rob had a FAQ, that was a question he answered.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.Quoth Nash:
I knew Nash would't let us down. Now can we move on and just wait and see what happens?
But people cared and got invested. As long as I'm not screaming at anyone, I'm allowed to be upset that all the character interaction I loved was just pointless.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again. That is an amazing quote.
You really should never get involved with comics fandom. It's so much worse.

ophelia, you're breaking my heartI don't, trust me.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.Make Love not War! don't give into the anger!
Doug will simply have to weather the storm now. granted I'm waiting for the official statement sicne I think Demo Reel got better with each episode.
Hopefully this doesn't beocme a thing where The NC become like the Undertaker... constantly rising from the grave for WRESTLEMANIA!
This is no time to bemoaning your fate. After all, "fate" is not the culprit here. That honor goes to your stubborn sense of self-worth.@emeriin: I think you're being very childish about this.

Don't get it.
(V)(;,,;)(V)@Nidalla I don't think I am. I really got into the show, and don't most fans feel sad when something is canceled?
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.
Real talk:
Doug, if the upcoming episodes center around the Chick trying to assassinate you (again), you've gained a loyal viewer.
I'm a skeptical squirrel
