Well, have they negotiated any contracts and deals with You Tube in order to protect themselves from that?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I hope hagan will be ok. I am sure all my other faves will be fine but i hope hagan will survive
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."They don't really strike deals so much as the partner network handles alot of the BS Youtube shovels their way so the creator doesn't have to. Totalbiscuit a while back made a video on what Polaris does and doesn't handle, and nothing really was to the effect of some deal that let them avoid or get leeway from Youtube's army of robots.
(Also, Irony that Polaris is a branch of Maker who owns Blip.)

So Shark Jumping's talking about Aaron Sorkin shows, and I'm hoping they do a video on Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip; that show is fascinatingly bad.
"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoSmarty is leaving CA. (Don't worry, apparently it has nothing to do with the recent drama.)
Just a person. He/him....... who is Smarty?
He reviews video games, I think. He organised the 2013 charity drive.

Just a person. He/him.Oh thank god it wasn't just me asking this.
@Rastalareux:
I couldn't help but find out that indie filmmaker extraordinaire Lloyd Kaufman appeared in one of your videos.
Mind if I ask how in the Sam Hill did you get Lloyd Kaufman to make a cameo in one of your videos?
He was in an AVGN video too. I guess Kaufman is just cool like that and/or likes internet reviews and was happy to be a part of it.
Actually I didnt. A friend of mine (LC from Sinnerradio) was at a con and met Lloyd and got him to film a little thing for me. Lloyd did a bunch of different takes and said different stuff each time (mis-remembering my name each time) and I was able to turn it into half of a conversation for a video. I met him myself about 8 months later at Tromadance and I tried to film a little bit with him and me (as Hagan) and apologise for killing him but it didnt happen. Got on well with Lloyd though!
I drifted away from TGWTG a while ago, and now I'm watching a new Film Brain episode. Whaaat haaappeneed tooo hiis voooice? Iiit's aaaall reeally streeetched vooowels noow?
I still liked his view, but it is oddly distracting.

I think it's just something he does for Film Brain since he doesn't seem to do that in his other shows and guest appearances.
But that's a story for another time.Yeah, Film Brain does that in his videos. You can get used to it after a while.
Just a person. He/him.He's always done that. He's been working on fixing it... With mixed successes.
I know he's always done it to some extent, but it seems like it's out of control now. I wondered if he's at a really high society university and being educated out of intelligibility.
I've always been divided on Film brain. On one hand, he's easily one of the most brilliant people on the site. The dude's knowledge of films is encyclopedic. He watches over 90 films a year, and he's a veritable font of information about hollywood. On the other hand... his delivery (With the stretched vowels, and his occasional almost "sing song" tone) and the filming location (In the corner of what I assumee to be his bedroom) make his reviews hard to watch. You get this cramped feeling from his filming location - like he's got no room and it was that or film in the closet or bathroom. And the delivery can make him grating after extended periods of time.
I almost wish someone would pay him to write their reviews or shows. He's got talent, and, well, brains, but it's on the delivery where he really stumbles.
A scarily uncanny Film Brain impression by Il Neige.
With them on the same site now, I want to see Film Brain attempt being Neige now.
Film Brain actually used to write movie reviews but they are gone because of the new CA site.
As for his delivery and shooting location, honestly, I don't mind them. His shows would be intersting regardless where he would shoot them, and while I found his accent a bit annoying at first, I got used to it. (And I'm saying this as someone with a low tolerance for annoying accents and voices.) For what it's worth, he doesn't talk like that when he talks without a script.
Just a person. He/him.Slightly OT, but since Lindsay is technically still on the site: She launched a Patreon for Loose Canon.

Just a person. He/him.Renegade Cut on what exactly makes Citizen Kane the "Greatest Movie of All Time."
Film Brain is probably one of the only contributors I still watch, other than Mike, Snob and some of the new meat if they updated.
It's over Anakin! I have the high ground!Wrong link.

But then you also have your cases like The FineBros who frequently have to deal with copyright claims despite being one of the most subscribed channels on youtube.
