Wasn't the point of the nunnery to prevent the spread of such? I feel like that was more or less the practical reason for its existence and its removal could really only lead to lewd things popping up elsewhere in increasing frequency from there.

FL shields abusers and rapists by not allowing any naming names publicly which means they don't get weeded out of the community and the already shaky reputation of BDSM is worsened. The staff have shown that they will edit out identifying information in warnings posted by victims.

Yeah, it's pretty much like that. Also, despite supposedly not being a dating site, it's full of creepers who hit on every girl in sight.

It's like a weirdness sandwich. First two bios are fucking odd, the next three are pretty standard bio fare, then the last one is just weird as shit.

Just to add to what Six says - there's quite a few who don't go on there simply because of what FL does, nevermind the huge issue that doesn't often get mentioned of how you're trusting a person whom you really only have their own word on, whereas if you met them locally through some kind of group you can at least ask others.

If you met me through a munch you can at least quietly ask another about me and be reasonably sure that their word is worth it. You often don't have that option with FL.
