Don't worry too much about not being familiar! It's not a requirement here to know something inside and out before you participate in a plot regarding it.

If anything, attempting to leverage knowledge about a series out-of-character is generally considered to be poor form unless your character would have a reason to know it in the first place.

Okay, well, is there a place that you would recommend that my character would show up at?

Right now the group that is currently on plot is approaching a clearing where some herbivores are grazing, so you could have Blitzwing meet up there.

Of course, if you don't want to do the plot, you can always have him wash ashore by the camp Raidou mentioned.

Or I could have him either fly overhead (in Jet mode) or end up literally being dropped in (in Tank mode).

Those were the ideas for entrances I thought of.

Those work, too! Whichever you're most comfortable with.

I just didn't want to force people to interact with my character without permission.

What's the camp called?

It does not have a formal name, so "Camp" will do fine.

Jets/Tanks and such aren't common in Monster Hunter, right?

Don't worry about "forcing" us to interact with your character. WAOA in general is 75% character interaction.

The only things that are off-limits tend to be godmodding (writing that your attacks automatically hit) and powergaming (controlling the responses of characters you don't own), which are very understandably Not Okay since it robs other players of their initiative to respond to things you do. And you'll note these don't usually tend to be related to character interaction, so don't worry about it too much!

Also, no they aren't. Monster Hunter at best has low steampunk levels of technology; the most complex vehicles you'll find are sailing ships. The most advanced tech the Monster Hunter world has developed are firearms and the Dragonator - what is essentially just a ridiculously large pneumatic spike powered by steam boilers. Of course, however, that doesn't mean other characters people are playing won't have recognized those sorts of vehicles.

Okay, I'll make my entrance post now, then I'll go to bed.

He ended up coming in all damaged because I was trying to imply that a monster ended up attacking him.

I mean, there are Monster Hunter Monsters that can make fire, right?

There's quite the many of them, yeah. Rathalos is the most well-known, but there's a ton of monsters that have fire attacks.

Thanks for telling me! I know how to do that (I did do it in this one post), but I thought it would've been kind of weird to include it in-RP with images.

Also, I put thoughts in brackets.

And I almost forgot the "no asterisks" rule for a few posts, so I ended up fixing that. I'm a bit too used to using asterisks for actions.

Yeah, CamelCase is an incredibly weird formatting system and it's not the most intuitive.

Not particularly, but the idea of a robot this ludicrously big is already weird enough to him, so he's just kind of rolling with it.

Oh, I just thought he would've asked about that. My bad.

According to what info I searched for, he was experimented on to become a Triple Changer, and the other two personalities/faces came with it as a result. I'm not sure if it happened over time or immediately (I'm leaning towards the former, personally). I also kind of imagine that talking about it makes him uncomfortable, because I imagine that isn't exactly the best experience to go through.

Even if he wasn't conscious, I'd imagine waking up with two other personalities/ending up with two other personalities/states over time would spook anyone.

The names of the personalities/faces were mostly a Word of God thing.

I just didn't really know how to have him characterized since he's not in his universe, and then I thought, 'Maybe since this one person is the first being he could talk to since he got here, maybe he could've been a tad more lenient' and such.
