well sunny this is pointless side info that doesn't really matter much to most, but I'm posting it so people can see that yes I am putting effort into this plot and so you can see the band of nut jobs that have been hand picked to act as 'guides'.

dossier #1:

Dreadnought Hadriel of the Heralds of fire. A battle brother who has served for many years with death watch now, he proved himself an astartes capable of heroism that was beyond the norm of what is normally asked of those assigned to death watch. During a mission to delay hive fleet dagon's assault upon an agri-world, he had his right arm torn off by a carnifex before plunging his power sword into the beast's eye killing it. After that he was said to have grabbed a flamer off of a fallen battle brother and held the line against a swarm of hormagaunts. By the time he was recovered most of his limbs were missing and his face was barely recognizable but he still drew breath. Upon being sealed in a dreadnought, he is noted as being somewhat forgetful occasionally acting like he is once again serving with the heralds of fire, or perhaps another chapter, but he still maintains enough awareness to be rather easy going for a dreadnought.

Dossier #2:

Techmarine Titumis of the Isonades chapter. His assignment to death watch is part punishment and part reward. During a mission to stall an ork waaagh while working with a group of dark angels, the order was given to stage a tactical retreat despite the evacuation of local civilians still not being completed. After a rather violent disagreement between a squad of Isonades and the dark angels, Titumis and another battle brother are reported to have 'stolen' a Rhino and raced back into the combat zone to try and evacuate as many civilians as they could. For his actions he was commended by his chapter, but sent to death watch to prevent the dark angels from bringing the hammer of wrath down on the chapter itself. In the Jericho reach he has served honorably, though some note he is liable to break from the mission to rescue imperial citizens should the scene appear before him.

Dossier #3:

Apothecary Icaras Tarillis of the desert wings. Icaras has been a death watch member for the longest out of anyone on the team having been assigned almost permanently since the Desert wings' homeworld was exterminatus'd. he's been in the Jericho reach long enough to see how far down the shitter the Achilus crusade has gone since it's bright beginning. Regardless he still preforms his duty as an apothecary without question and guards the gene-seed of his fallen brothers with his life. He's taken part on numerous exploratory missions that have taken him and other deathwatch astartes close to the hadex anomaly and always managed to survive.

Dossier #4:

Tactical Marine Maerus "Anvil" Blein of the steel phoenixes. He's a relatively new member to the deathwatch team, having only been assigned as of recently after the death of the last librarian. Because of the Steel phoenix's unique organization however, he is classified as a tactical marine rather than a dedicated librarian. Due not be fooled as his psychic might has allowed him to clear rooms with but a flick of his fingers to cast fire that burns with the rage of the emperor. Despite not being a techmarine, his skills are second only to Titumis in repairing and communicating with the omnissiah, something that both intrigues and somewhat disturbs those outside the team.

Dossier #5:

Assault Marine Krias Trissmoss of the lunar scythes. Picking the position of assault marine ever since joining deathwatch, Krias has proven himself to be an almost unstoppable object when it comes to advancing forward. his skill with a power scythe earned him a position in the elite reapers squad within his home chapter. However he has lost the ability to talk since a traitor astartes nearly cut his throat out with a chainsword leaving his only method of communication to be hand signals. It is likely because of his condition that he has been noted to be obstinate on some occasions.

description; invictus is a roughly 7 foot tall humanoid mecha built for heavy combat. designed with hard angles and a versatile frame, it's purposed to field various medium and heavy weapons, both melee and ranged. invictus has been outfitted with a warhammer and carries any mission-specific ranged weaponry as needed [which is very much a case by case basis depending on what's available].

eires nada

personality: invictus' personality protocols dictate a polite tone when in social dealings. while not a joker or aloof, the mecha does have an oddly casual set of behavioral dictates it follows.

eires nada is the pilot masquerading as the combat frame invictus. standing at six feet, she's a young woman who's trained herself to pilot such a frame with acceptable, if not within normal combat parameters. hit once, hit first, and hit hard would accurately describe how she normally operates, with mixed, but usually desirable, results. considering the invictus a second skin of sorts, she prefers the feel of hard metal and the security it offers in such a line of work as her own. regardless of the masquerade she employs in public, she still allows her own personality to sine through despite the metal frame. either way, she's quite sociable.

gear; warhammer, heavy metal, heavy weapons (autocannon, pistols ), jump jets, kickass gunmetal paint job, glowing cyclonic eye of doom.

@Etheru: Yep, my three, for convenience's sake. Undertale is popular enough that I don't worry about people not knowing who Muffet is, but I know not a lot of people here are familiar with Panel de Pon so maybe this could serve as a crash course on the ones I'm currently controlling.

• Age: ??? (not a child, due to the lack of striped shirt; looks to be around 19 or so)
• Appearance: A light purple/periwinkle-skinned girl with no nose, five eyes (all a solid dark purple normally, although the pupils do become visible when especially surprised), and small fangs poking out of her mouth. Her black hair is tied into pigtails with two small red ribbons. She wears a red dress with maroon sleeves, poofy red pantaloons, a large maroon ribbon and two prominent purple buttons on the front, and thigh-length black boots. As fitting a spider monster, she has eight limbs - six arms and two legs. (avatar◊)
• Personality in a nutshell: Gets annoyed at/hurt by people who dislike or are afraid of spiders, for obvious reasons. Outwardly she's very bubbly and upbeat, but on the inside...?

(As a note, my idea of Muffet is that she speaks with a bit of a lisp. It's not being transcribed in her dialogue because it would get annoying.)

• Sex: F
• Species: Human (former Nobody)
• Age: 18
• Appearance: "Who am I? What am I...here for?"◊
• Personality: Xion is very emotional, but usually fairly cheerful as long as things are going her way or at least not against her. When she does get upset, expect her to be very upset. She makes friends fast, and suffers from Chronic Hero Syndrome.
• Powers: She has both offensive and defensive magical spells. The offensive spells are all elemental in nature, and her main defensive spell is a shield that will bounce attacks back at enemies (barring a direct hit by an RPG or something of the like). She also has a healing spell that will heal most non-crippling wounds.
• Equipment: Xion is a Keybearer, and can summon a Keyblade, which can be used as a weapon and can unlock anything counting as a lock. She also has several healing potions, sea-salt ice cream and a seashell from home.

about a 100. Think an M1 abrams on steroids, but then have it possessed by satan and you will be pretty close
