[imitates John Wayne] "Thought you died, Homestar."
"I got bettew."
They assed first. I am only retaliating in an ass way. -The Dead Man's LifeLike that time that Homestar slept through June?
I have a message from another time...Still not sure I like the Compé, though.
I have a message from another time...One does wonder if this would be the return of regular(ish) updates at Homestar Runner, or if it would be a one SB Email followed by no other updates for years
Or a suggestion of an update, followed by nothing for years

I was trying not to invoke this worst case scenario!
My feeling is that if they're doing sbemails, they're probably going to at least try to update more regularly, since they need people to send in e-mails...
One of the Chapmans is supposed to be directing that Aquabats show, isn't he? Maybe that gave him a boost or something.
Matt Chapman is directing Yo Gabba Gabba
How do you know?
Coz he's listed on both IMDB, and on his own twitter.

Why should he? Maybe they reserve the H*R website for Homestar Runner related stuff, and feel that whatever else they do for their professional lives don't belong there. Especially when Yo Gabba Gabba is actually a show for kids, so they probably didn't feel like misleading fans by making them watch something that isn't aimed at them (though it does include some Parental Bonus) and which is very different in tone from H*R.
The Brothers Chap have always been fairly private regarding their own personal lives outside of stuff relating directly to H*R. When they made music of Sealab 2021 or got contracted to write a movie for the Jim Henson company, they didn't put those on the website either.
Plus this info's been on the hrwiki for an eternity and a half if you wanted to know :-P

Is that actually true? That H*R is aimed at adults? Because while its certainly full of nostalgic referances and nods to nerd culture, its certainly more kid-friendly than a lot of the other popular series' that are on the net.
There's a difference between kid-friendly and kid-oriented. The Order Of The Stick, for example, avoids swearing and other such things because you never know who'll stumble onto it, but given the drama it's clearly aimed at an older audience.
Same thing with H*R. The references clearly mark it as being for adults, but enjoyable by anyone, because there's no way kids are going to get them.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.@ Lalalei2001: I know this is a little late, but what did you say in your sbemail?

Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.Dear The Strongest of the Bads,
What would Free Country, USA be liek if everyone was a giant transforming robot? And what would you transform into?
—Mary, OH
The Protomen enhanced my life.Oh, they would be all over that.
Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart. So they're back? Interesting...
This doesn't necessarily mean they're back. It's just a public appearance.
Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova ScotianMight've just been for the occasion.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I was kind of hoping "Let's do this..." would be followed by "LIKE BRUTUS".

I think it would be funny if it turns out Strong Bad hasn't been outdoors in 2 years.
