I rather particularly like "His Face All Red".

I foresaw the ending to The Prince and the Sea... because of the fae-thing. :P

His Face All Red was good, but I also liked Out the Door.

^ "Out the Door" is a good example of why a lot of horror pisses me off. We're supposed to take it for granted that because the narrator is strange, she's evil and planning to harm the boy. I'm strange, and I don't think I'm a bad person, so I tend to get defensive of the strange in fiction.

I never said I liked it because it insinuated that the person was going to hurt them. -_^ I just liked it because it was kinda sweet. Like the mermaid in the Prince and the Sea... in her own way.

Then again I tend to lean towards the "kinder" side of things first...

...I didn't see Out the Door as being creepy... <_<

And if you were turning into Scythemantis I'm not sure there would be something inherently wrong with that. :P

Coincidentally, I just found a comics site that scared the shit out of me. (The one I read was Shapeshifter. I haven't even dared to look at the others.)

I found this video. I personally don't find it scary or unsettling. Just very interesting.

It's kind of funny that a thread created implicitly for Nightmare Fetishists has people posting 'well, this didn't scare me, but...' anyway. :P

What scares the pants off of one person may make another chuckle, is all.

Or perhaps the chuckler knows that on a different level, the thing should be scary, wasn't scared by it, and posted it up for us to stare at it with quiet unnerved terror.
