Boom.

Being developed by Telltale Games, the Back to the Future game series will include the likenesses of Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, who portrayed the characters Marty Mc Fly and Doc Brown in the films, which listed Steven Spielberg among the executive producers. (Lloyd will also provide his voice for the games.)

I like the artwork. Marty looks cute as a button.

Hopefully it'll avoid The Problem with Licensed Games.

It's Telltale.

They've managed to essentially resurrect Monkey Island. I have faith in them.

Telltale also did Strong Bad and Wallace And Gromit, not to mention CSI.

I was FROZEN today!

Anyway, it's Telltale. Their treatment of other franchises have been far from The Problem with Licensed Games, Bob Gale is working with them on the plot and the initial survey was promising.

I hope they use the awesome Devil's Playhouse - if you don't have it already, get it, it's currently on sale on Steam - approach instead of SBCGFAP with all its Soup Can puzzles.

Definitely looks promising. Man, those movies are pure Nostalgia Filter.

...Lloyd but no Fox? Awww... I hope this means they just haven't signed Fox on yet.

Definitely, but if it came down to either Lloyd or Fox, i would want them to go with Lloyd

What kind of game will it be, though? The "episodes" thing makes me think it's going to be a old-style click adventure like Monkey Island, but I'm hoping it's sort of an action-adventure-puzzle game.

Lloyd but no Fox?
His Parkinsons' is too advanced for voice work, unfortunately. From what I've heard, he needs lots of medication to speak coherently these days, and even then it comes off as an emotionless monotone.

^^ Considering that this is by Telltale, I'm guessing it's an adventure game.

Semi-related tidbit: Michael J. Fox will guest-star on the season premiere of The Good Wife (September 28th), playing a cynical Amoral Attorney who uses his Parkinson's to get sympathy for a giant pharmaceutical company.

Folks curious whether he'd be able to do voice work for Marty for the BTTF game might want to check it out.

Based on the three films? Not bad, but I'd rather see a continuation of them...

The art is great, though!

The Back To The Future movies are pretty slow-paced, so a point-and-click adventure seems like the best genre for a game adaptation.

I love adventure games, and I love Back to the Future. A match made in heaven.

Also made by Telltale games, so going by the quality of their previous work, this should turn out pretty good.

Prepare for a really stupid question: what console is it on?

I read the article, but they didn't seem to mention it.

If Telltale's previous games are any indication, then PC and Wii. And maybe one or the other of the PS 360, it seems to be random.

Has Wallace & Gromit been released on Wii?
