The tiny robot could only stare silently at the much taller figure that had just descended from the spaceship onto the deserted, lifeless plains.
Long light green hair softly caressed by the dry breeze.
Large, quiet light green eyes that shone subtly as they scanned the landscape.
And a slender body shape unlike any that the tiny robot had ever seen since the days humans left Earth behind. A human shape.
The tiny robot wheeled back, nervously, as the girl flew towards him, looking down at him, contemplating his unexpected presence over several long, tense moments...
And then she smiled and extended a hand towards him.

Chachamaru nodded as she gently pushed ahead the tiny, rusty robot she had brought into the mother ship. "His name's Wall-E, Master..."

Really, I think Chisame would die. Because although its shown she's satisfied with her life, by the Inquisitor's logic she could have been much more than she is.

We have no idea how much everyone ended up doing to justify their existences and fulfill themselves in the currently featured timeline (which, awful as it is, IS the canonically core one by virtue of being the one Akamatsu chose to make a whole sequel out of in what might be his last work ever, while ignoring the previous series' continued existence). So I don't think we really can make any calls regarding them.
The Inquisitor does kill Akamatsu, though, by virtue of his whole career being a prime example of wasted potential and opportunities.
Actually, those being at the Inquisitor's trial is judged by themselves and as it turns out, the selfish ones are the ones that lives because by their own low standards they have already fulfilled their worthwhile life whereas the good people keep trying and trying with their lives and end up being erased because they feel they haven't fulfilled their standards. Okay, Kotarou might be happy with his life, but Nodoka's case would state that while she's done the best she can, it's not enough by her standards.
Now, if there's an argument there that Konoka would be selfish, she isn't. She's just content with living with Setsuna as they did before and is happy with that standard. Becoming a Magister Magi and the greatest healer in the world is just something to aspire to.

Nodoka I get the feeling that even if she was rejected she would still feel proud of having done the best she can.
I always got the feeling that the selves that are judging them are on some level being both partial and impartial seeing as they understand the person's standards but also not letting them make excuses.
Chisame I feel is one of the better examples of probably being able to do better, but because of ehr emotional constipation she's never been able to achieve all she can. She ends up becoming a hikikomori for Christ's sake.

I thought we had agreed to call Fanon Discontinuity on the last few chapters' mind-boggingly stupid elements.

Not Archivist, since he's happy with Current Akamatsu.
I think Akamatsu doesn't honestly get the badness and wrongness of what being a hikikomori actually means (overall, his social views seem to have grown very skewed- see also 'Redistribution of poverty' and UQ Holder's social stances), so it's possible he didn't truly see what was he doing to Chisame's character. Judging from the other epilogues, I think he honestly thought he was doing something that would pass in his audience's eyes as 'happy ends' for everyone while still screwing them all to a degree or another. He's become much of a 'I try to eat my cake and have it too' figure.

I'll gladly say that Akamatsu decisions from introducing the three new Averrunci onward were all stupid.But despite that I don't call fanon discontinuity since regardless if I disagree or not it still happened and no amount of putting my head in the ground like an ostrich is going to change that.
No offence to any of those who do decide to go with Fanon Discontinuity, these are just my personal opinions in regards to them. Some might be able to ignore the parts they hate as much as they want, but I find it hard to do. Despite my dislike of the Moffet era of Doctor Who I still acknowledge it.

- For all we know, it's because of her unusually long hair (much longer than a child of her apparent age would have) and/or compactly dense muscles that she developed either over the past 15 years or as a parallel to her learning aikijujutsu from its own founder to compensate for her depowering by Nagi and/or her occasional bouts of temporary depowering (that seems to be the common fan explanation for her apparently having fallen in love with Nagi after he rescued her from falling off a cliff; a fully powered Evangeline with 500+ years of experience wouldn't have gotten into such a situation, since she can just levitate).
- Where did you get that Asuna avvie? I don't remember her wearing a white dress while holding her sword like that.

Its from the Negima wiki. We sort of had the exact same conversation regarding the rest of 3-A's weight, and I was just sorta taking a potshot at Eva. :P
As for the avatar, its Asuna as she was on the cover for volume 38. Most of images from that are too small to actually use, but I stumbled across this pic that has a close up of her and Negi.
