Well, it still isn't popular enough to has it own Pachinko machine, is it?
Please do us all a favor and DO NOT ever mention that again!
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.When ZOE comes to mind to me, I think of the MG 2 demo.
Anyway, Turn!
- Its design is nice and simple. No kibble, no meainingles bits and bobs or overly symbolic wings or whatever. Just a head, limb, torso, groin, moustache, bang.
- Can sprout pretty butterfly wings.
- Can reduce civilizations to meaningless dust with said wings. Unless you're Amuro's Nu Gundam who can somehow no-sell that thing with the power of not being just for show.
- Can hang washing out, transport cattle and safely hold nuclear missiles. And it fights! It does it all!
- Its pilot (and the series protag) is a black kid! How many anime do you know even have a POC protagonist? Its like a stroke of luck there.
- Ends up looking more human than most mobile suits and even Gundams because of that moustache
- Has a rival that looks like an angry ninja turtle (I'm sorry but that's why Turn X looks like to me)
- Once got piloted by its usual pilot while...naked. I mean wow.
- Its even equipped for most occasions, its got the Gundam Hammer! :D
- Was designed by the guy who worked on Blade Runner. Sort of a consolation prie for that 80s hollywood gundam movie not happening.
People should take more notice of it, its a great design.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowLet me remind you of what happened when Hollywood DID try to make a Gundam movie.
No, no no no, nononononononono
That one's on Canada.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyYeah but at least the first one went down since it woulda been even dumber. Like Amuro- sorry, Amaru and Char being brothers and Zeon being skynet or some shit. Imean yeah it led to Syd Mead and Tomino collaborating but hot damn
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowDon't forget Mobile Suits ending up as big as Jaegers for some stupid reason.
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Okay, you're right.
Which means Hollywood's movie would have been far worse.
But you know what? Forget G-Saviour, forget the Hollywood film, the only live action Gundam we need is the best, better than the rest...
Gundam 0079: The War For Earth.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you know...All I can say to that is, 'This exists.'
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundG-Saviour was awesome (as far as B-movies go), and I won't hear a single word to the contrary.
I do think G-Saviour is a competent film, and I'm willing to forgive the CG given the limits of the technology of the time.
But, it doesn't really do much to connect itself to the Gundam universe and probably would have done better as a stand-alone. As a Gundam production, it's very lacking.
I know I already mentioned this a long time ago but... There is also that japan-only G-Saviour game for PS 2. (Which despite being japan-only is fully voiced in english!)
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.It's apparently set decades after Victory, and they had limited time and budget to work with.
At the very least, I'd call Broad Strokes.
I doubt the Gundam Tank'll ever show up in a Gundam VS or Musou game but...that would be so amazing.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowDo you mean the Guntank? Because its a 200 cost unit in Gundam VS
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyFinally started AGE, the last of the TV series I need to watch to be fully caught up with the franchise:
- The opening two episodes are, well, paint-by-numbers-Gundam. Mechanically-inclined teenager (? the younger characters all look no older than 12) involved with the Gundam's creation? Check. Classmates along for the ride? Check. Destructive attack on their peaceful space colony home? Check. A new cutting-edge battleship? Check. Newtype girl? A little early but check. The most interesting thing is whatever Grodek's deal is.
- So the AGE Builder is essentially a giant 3D printer. That's actually kind of a unique way to handle the Gundam's armaments, though since AGE seems to be more of a kids' show than any other installment before it, the concept seems ripe for abuse.
- The Vagan mobile suits are certainly distinct if nothing else, though they are a bit too Super Robot-y in design for my tastes.
- I'm enjoying the music the most of anything. It's got that classic cheesy space opera feel to it.
I think he mean RX-78-2 with Guntank's lower body. It's rare thing (IIRC, there's concept art for it in GBF, but it got scrapped), but technically exist due to Gundam and Guntank share Core Block System.
AGE being paint-by-numbers Gundam is a thing that will continue, for better or worse.
I actually love the designs of (most of) the Vagan MS's. Sometimes I think the franchise gets a little too attached to variations on GM-clones and Zaku-clones and needs some fresh ideas, and the Vagan suits were certainly that.
The most sweet thing is Xamdrag. When the backstory claim the engineers design it to resemble the pilot for ease of control and you get a gorilla MS, you known there can't be anything wrong with it.

@Airman: Nah I mean you know that War for Earth thing I showed off? At one point it has Gundam glued onto the Guntank's treads creating an ever-so-silly looking machine. If that showed up in a VS game I'd be so amazed
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowYeah, that's the sumbitch. Its so stupid that I want it ina Musou game. If we can get the EW version of Wing Zero and its literal angel wings, I think we can take the Gundam Tank.
Too bad it has all the durability of papier mache though. Seriously the gundam getting blown up by proximity bombs what the fuc was presto studios smoking
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you know
Mine would be "Cockpit literalness"
