Does raise the question of how some demons/Personas can repel some physical attacks but not others, though. Or how absorbing physical attacks even works.
I sure said that!If I recall, the added quest item story materials in later versions of SMTI reveals the whole "Louis was manipulating Lilith" thing, as well as clarifying that the figure who revived Law Hero was Gabriel.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Repel Phys can also mean "skin/hide/scales/whatever so hard people hitting you actively hurt themselves trying."
Absorb Phys, on the other hand, is probably magic.
If you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy, have some taste. Use all your well-learned politesse or I'll lay your soul to waste.x2 Yeah, which makes it interesting because this means that Gabriel didn't use Gods power but something else to revive him. He also Came Back Wrong, with only "Virtue" and none of his humanity. In fact Dijeh has the translations for the Visionary Items on their tumblr.
Other things explained in the translated interview include Asura and Lucifer being allies only because they want the same thing, and he was traveling around the world while Hero fought the Angels and Asura and his forces.
There's also this interview about II
- The Kabbalah humans made is based on humans having seen the Abyss.
- The Nature of the theme of Shin Megami Tensei is Chaos.
- They were thinking of making SMTII Chaos, but decided it was too easy and went with Law.
- The Three Archangels were Dark-Law to Gabriel and Satan's Light-Law
- Gabriel did indeed help her brothers willingly, but later on realized this wasn't what God wanted.
Interesting to point out is that those who are Dark-Law would justify everything in order to create the world God wants. Such as massacres and witch hunts.
- The Messians are Narcissists, which is why Aleph was artificially planted inside Hiroko and then taken out.
- Protagonists who easily throw away and fuse demons don't have a good concept of love, which is why they typically lack a ideal family (Father, Mother, even some siblings).
- Law Ending wouldn't work for SMTII as Law Hero's artificial revival by Gabriel was the basis for the Messiah Project.
- Law Hero was Prototype 0
- Similarities to previous heroes (Beth to Heroine, Daleth to Hero) was likely intentional to remind people of them. Though they will not be like the original no matter how much they are made in their image.
- Zayin/Satan likely has a Neutral part in him.
Freedom Ending get. I have to admit I was a little bit nervous against Kagutsuchi because I was facing him without any of my demons using Rakukaja, so all his Almighty attacks (which make up the vast majority of his attacks) hit me and hit me hard, even with Masakados equipped. I'm just glad he never used Dekunda or Dekaja. That would've been a disaster.
There's something delightful about getting 9000 damage in one hit though.

Looks like one of the new invaders hangs out around the Sky Tower.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Oh look, we can use the stylus to assign demons now, exciting (unless we could always do that and I'm just dumb).
Well, that eyestalk not-Septentrione strongly reminds me of the Star Wars dianoga now that we get a good look at it.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsAs sad as this sounds I'm having trouble grinding in Devil Survivor Overclocked and 2. Any general advice would be great.
Super Robot! SUPER ROBOT! ◥▶◀◤ Also, if some of my posts don't make sense, please take note that I might lack sleeGood to see Break Record is finally on the verge of existing properly. I mean, how long has this fucking game been talked about.
I'm pretty sure they announced it 2 or 3 years ago didn't they? Did Overclocked take this long?
One Strip! One Strip!Which part are you on in Overclocked?
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughAnd an important point that cannot be over stated about DeSu: Level is a functional albeit unelaborated upon stat in those games and in fact is one of the most important for most of the calculations involved. Team leaders have a level stat that reflects their current level, but demons' level stats are locked at their base level, so upgrading via fusion or auction is even more important than in other SMT games.
I sure said that!Day 6.
Super Robot! SUPER ROBOT! ◥▶◀◤ Also, if some of my posts don't make sense, please take note that I might lack sleeUgh, Day 6 is the worst. That's the one where everyone starts busting out the Null All skill or whatever it's called, I think. Recommend cracking Holy Dance ASAP and Pierce if you can. Pierce especially. It wrecks a lot of the Day 7 game no matter which ending you get.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughIt's also the day where they expect you to have demons that have Devil Speed. I'm glad that the Devil's Fuge thing is dependent on level rather then the strength stat. I've cracked Holy Dance and Pierce. Their on Midori (She's not that bad.) and Atsuro (Atsubro!) respectfully.

For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughI find in the Devil Survivor games that it's best to stop grinding once you're five levels above the local fauna unless you're trying to unlock a fusion; the Anti-Grinding makes it tedious to go any higher, mostly. If you're on Day 6 crack Anti-Most from the Abaddons ASAP.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsWhat, really? I never knew that detail.
Yeah, Devil's Fuge's strength depends on your level, not your Strength stat. You would not believe how pissed I was when I found out.
Super Robot! SUPER ROBOT! ◥▶◀◤ Also, if some of my posts don't make sense, please take note that I might lack sleeIn regards to Overclocked, I remember Lakshmi being a pretty good endgame demon. She's very good at keeping people alive.
Heart of Stonegaruda is a good end-game demon, though i guess you'll get more out of it in new game plus on account of it being like lvl70 or something.
a good rule of thumb is that your demons will want drain, especially if they have high-cost magic or healing, though it gets the most use with a high magic demon, it does fairly well to keep most demons going regardless.
Tell me about it, wasting points in strength when you want to build a magic MC just so you can hit Beldr for more than scratch damage.
At least we know better now. Why do I always imagine the MC listening to Another One Bites The Dust by Queen when he's taking on teams my himself?
Super Robot! SUPER ROBOT! ◥▶◀◤ Also, if some of my posts don't make sense, please take note that I might lack sleeDedicated teams are almost always better if you're smart enough to keep your physical team away from a team it can't hurt. This lets you get the most out of your auto and racial skills.
For example, Awakening + Blitzkrieg + elemental Jump skills lets you do close to a thousand damage per hit of a dance, and still over 600 if the demon is strong against it (tested on Atsuro route Babel, first playthrough)—it will be stronger than Holy Dance in any situation where the element is not totally nullified. Add a tyrant and the sheer damage you do refills your MP every time. Add Megidolaon to the fastest member of the team to wipe non-boss teams without a sweat.
Any team with Awakening wants all magic users. Any team with Full Might wants all physical users with at least one full team heal spell. Putting a Touki with a Tyrant usually means wasting one of the racials.
However, it's NOT good to specialize in one non-phys, non-almighty element for a team, because demon teams tend to have mixed resistances. If you have a Jump skill, definitely get a dance or Ma-dyne skill for it, but don't make a team that only has various electric skills just to own the heck out of the rare pure-electric weakness teams.
Belial tore my teams to shreds. POWERLEVELING MUSIC MONTAGE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Here's some answers
Taijorokun represents Nature, which is Neutral. It surprisingly explains why Mem Aleph is Neutral as a password demon and shows that SJ's world has become imabalanced to the point that Nature itself seeks mans annihilation.
