A Game of Gods: A Multiversal Challenge

"Blah, that was anticlimatic." Natsu said, back in the room.

The Doctor smiles. "I'm not an ape anymore! Hooray! "

Rey came wandering out of his room...still with that same slightly serene smile on his face as he wandered out, chuckling somewhat.

Dex-Starr awoke inside some type of cat bed right inside the common room. "Meow," he said.

He found he couldn't talk anymore.

The blue kitten mewed happily and did a backflip. He then flew over to the couches and immediately sprawled himself out on Subaru's lap. He poked at Subaru's arm, wanting her to pet him.

Bowser got up and stretched.

"GOD that was boring."

The Doctor walks to Rey. "Say why'd you pet me while I was an ape or monkey or orangutan or whatever?"

Naoto grumbled as she stepped out of her room and walked to the common room. She sat down in her chair that managed to remain and rested her head in her hand.

Rey smiled at the Doctor, chuckling. "I'm sorry, Mike. I guess I just forgot where I was for a second. But listen, you and John just do what you gotta do tonight, I need to go warm up."

With that, Rey patted the Doctor's shoulder, then turned and headed for the ring.

The Doctor stares at Rey. "Huh? Um guys Rey's finally lost his mind I think."

So many young people stuck here as well. "Pokemon, some kind of magical beast?" It looks like a small rodent of some kind. Yellow, could be lightning or some kind of nature type. But wait, those are standards from my world. Red Mage watched Lux's display of magic. Light, that's no White Magic that's genuine 'light' magic. I've never heard of a Mage with that kind of magic, although the War Mech could control it with its technology. Fascinating. "That's... a curious talent, I've never seen a Mage that controlled solar light directly. We should exchange notes soon." Red Mage wasn't sure how to proceed next as so many had approached him.

"Oh shit. Am I still alive?"

Spriggan was now on the ground, staring at the ceiling.

Rey wandered over, leaning down to look at Spriggan. "You okay, Spriggan?"

"Last time I remembered, I was changing to a damn simian."

Spriggan patted his face. "I'm still okay."

"And you looked pretty bad there."

The masked TGS agent turned around to see the G4 Trainer was behind him alongside the Black Stig.

"Yeah whatever."

"Umm...I guess so. Many Pokemon have various attacks and abilities of some kind. For example..."

He pointed at an empty spot on the room.

"Pikachu! Thunder!"

Pikachu then sent a large lightning bolt on that spot.

Rey looked up, then chuckled a little. "You guys are too much." He went over to a spot on the floor, then settled down to sit, starting to do some sort of stretches.

Red Mage smiled. "Just as I thought, a lightning creature. I can do much the same... Thunder!" Red Mage held out his hand and snapped his fingers, a spark formed into a blast of electricity into the same spot. "Your creature's lightning attacks look strong."

The trainer and the Black Stig helped Spriggan get up.

"Well that's a consolation at least. Dammit..."

He shook his head to clear the pain. "So what's next?"

"Haha, thanks! And your magic looks pretty great too!" Red said.

Then the others arrived at the room.

"Hey guys!" he said.

Vezon clambered into the room. "Hi guys! That was a laugh, wasn't it?... Uh, no hard feelings about me shooting you with shadow and stuff, right? I was just being in character, hope you understand."

Mason looked around.
Everyone just came back at the same time.
He came to the conclusion that the enemy had used a WMD.

"I can do Lightning, if that's what is required", said Galen, and shot a blast of Force Lightning at a random spot, careful not to hit anyone.

"Yeah sure."

Spriggan murmured, raising an eyebrow at Vezon.

Samara calmly walked in the room and said "Hey, guys." She then walked off to do....well, god knows what.

Gordon looked around the common room.

"Oh thank god," he said. "That was too much. Too, too much fucking dumb bullshit in one god damned challenge. Fuck the Silver Age, holy shit."

He seemed to be taking quite the advantage of his newly regained ability to swear.

Blink looked around. "So you're done with that weird-Hey, look!"

There was a distinct crackle of energy from a panel on the floor, and suddenly a new portal had opened.

Gordon eyed it for a moment. It was blue, nothing too remarkable about it.

"Fuck, it can't be as shitty as the last challenge," he murmured before heading through. Blink followed seconds after.

Spriggan checked his weapons and ammo, still there before he followed Gordon.

"We'll see ya later." The G4 trainer told the agent before he went through the portal.
