Rey smiled, looking to Blink, walking after her, then leaning closer to whisper lightly to her. "Naoto may never feel the way you want her to, sweetie. But she'll be a very good friend for you. And you'll find someone to make you happy. I know you will." He kissed her forehead, nodding to her and Naoto. "You'd better go before something else happens."

He sets Eta down. "Anyone else want to go with me? Chi? Rey?"

Kamiyu blinked, then smiled. Her smile wavered a little... and then she threw her arms around Rey, hugging the wrestler tightly. He'd always been so nice to her... almost like a father.
"I'll miss you," she said, letting go after a long moment. She was coming close to tears again. "Rey-Rey."
Kamiyu steadied her smile, and took a step backwards, towards Naoto.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Rey smiled, nodding to Blink, keeping a warm smile on his face. "You girls are going to be unstoppable. I already know it."
Rey looked to the others, then shook his head slowly. "I don't know yet..."

Easing back into life one step at a time
Narumi looked at his portal. No way he would ever make it back to his world. Nevertheless, he looked into the portal and saw his apprentice sitting on a chair by his desk. He looked to be sulking for some reason. "... Mason... If I don't make it back, I'm sorry. There is one thing I have to take care of." Narumi said. "Henshin..." Narumi said as he placed the Skull Memory into the Lost Driver.
SKULL!
A purple streak of lightning came out of the belt as a circle surrounded Narumi. Armor built up Narumi, creating the Skull Rider one last time. He looked at the champions. Some were his friends, others were his enemies for a while. Others he never met before. But none were his apprentice. Only his apprentice was the closest thing he had to a friend. The others he made on this trip was just by chance. He turned his head and went into the portal.
Several moments later, he returned from the portal, with the armor gone. It was now just Narumi, his fedora and his tux. "Now... I'm ready..." Narumi said.
Lux executed a little wave towards the other two girls slightly younger than she, from behind and off to the side of Rey.
How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?
Naoto gave a wave to Rey and Lux, nodding to the both of them. She looked over at Blink, slightly not believing that they were finally going home. She hesitantly reached out and took the other girl's hand before heading into the portal.
"Of course, Satsuki-sama."
"Goodbye, everyone."
Kamiyu gripped Naoto's hand tightly, and passed through the portal with her.

Stealth Bomber
"Well," said Sub-Zero, "this is it. Now, we must return home. But before I go, I want to thank you all again. In a game of gods, only true warriors like yourselves prevail. And Rey, if you meet a deathstalker, he might be someone I know. Farewell." With that, the ninja stepped into his portal.
When Sub-Zero entered the portal, he found himself in the Living Forest. He had been in these nightmarish woods before, as had his former best friend and current enemy, Smoke. Smoke knew these woods better than anyone in the Lin Kuei. Sub-Zero, however, preferred to stick to clearings, where he could find some good fighting space. He just happened to be in one. He was in an arena of sorts. The trees did not grow in this circular patch Sub-Zero was in. Instead, they surrounded it, daring not to grab kombatants and eat them alive as they normally would.
Sub-Zero looked around cautiously, watching for sudden movements. He heard footsteps behind him. When he turned around, he spotted two men wearing red garb similar to his own, but with skull-faced masks like Shao Kahn's. Behind them was a familiar periwinkle and black cyborg
◊. Smoke had come to hunt him down.
"Sub-ZEro. SubMIT to your termiNAtion," said the cyborg. "Shao KAHN has SEnt with me two of his enFORcers to aid me in finiSHING you. SubMIT to your termiNAtion."
The two enforcers rushed at Sub-Zero, but he was ready. He fell back and disappeared into the ground. He arose as if falling up at an angle where neither the enforcers nor the cyborg would see him. The enforcers stopped and looked around frantically, bewildered by what they had just seen. He then sent a continuous freezing blast at one of the enforcers. Within seconds, the enforcer was completely frozen. Sub-Zero took the opportunity to front flip towards the frozen man and uppercut it. As soon as the blow landed, the enforcer was smashed to pieces. The other enforcer didn't have time to turn around before Sub-Zero grabbed him by the head. The ninja coldly tore off the enforcer's head, and with it went the dead man's spine. The ninja turned to Smoke and held up the head with its attached spine, then threw it to the ground.
" You will subMIT to termiNAtion. No ONE disoBEYS the Lin KUEI," said Smoke.
"No one," said Sub-Zero, "but a man who is right. Face me in mortal kombat."
Sub-Zero struck a Shotokan fighting stance, while Smoke struck a Mi Tzu one. An ethereal voice shouted "FIGHT!" and the two kombatants engaged. Smoke tried the same tactic that had gotten Sub-Zero into the game. But Sub-Zero knew his opponent would do the teleport punch, so he turned around. When the cyborg arose from the ground, the ninja was waiting for him with a freezing blast. Smoke was stopped in mid-air. The ninja formed a Kori Sword and slashed two times, knocking Smoke out of his freeze.
With a hard slam, the cyborg hit the ground. It tried to get up, but oil was pouring from its back.
"SubMIT...subMIT...subM...i...t..." The cyborg powered down. Sub-Zero froze his fallen foe's back. He grabbed the cyborg's limp form. Sub-Zero had fought enough with cyborgs to know that Smoke was not finished off; rather, the cyborg had not enough oil to continue fighting.
Suddenly, a flash of lightning and a boom of thunder went off nearby. Sub-Zero turned around to see Raiden, God of Thunder, Protector of Earthrealm, walking towards him.
"Lord Raiden," said Sub-Zero. "What do you require?"
"I have news," said Raiden. "Jax and Sonya just finished building a prototype for a new machine. It can awaken or restore the souls of cyborgs, restoring their humanity. Come with me, and we can lead Smoke back into the right. We need every ally we can get if we're going to repel Shao Kahn's forces."
Sub-Zero held Smoke with one arm and grabbed Raiden's with his other. In a flash of lightning, the three teleported to the Special Forces headquarters. Very soon, the ninja would have his closest ally back once again.

Spriggan told Blink as she and Naoto were leaving.
"I guess this'll be the last time we'll see each other."

Rey looked at his portal, sighing softly as he studied it for a moment. Finally, though, he turned away, heading back into the middle of the room, head down. "I don't know what I'm gonna do now. I guess...I guess I need to figure out where the best place for me will be."

The Doctor grins. "Very nice Chi. Let's go."
Chi follows the Doctor into the TARDIS. "Let's see my last travel was Earth, 2012. Let's start there."
As the TARDIS flies there the Doctor sees a blond woman frozen in the Time Vortex. "Thanks Lambda."
Eta starts to wake up. Who's that, Doctor?
"Ah Eta. This is Rose. I'll explain everything later."
He picks up Rose and she wakes up as if she was never frozen. "the storm this time?"
The Doctor chuckles. "Ah yes. I think there's a storm brewing around 2007."
Rose looks around and sees the Nomad children. "Who are these?"
She grins slyly and elbows him. "You must have been busier than I thought."
The Doctor stammers. "No... No..."
The Doctor explains all that happened in this Game of Gods.
The Doctor opens the door. "Eta, Chi. Stay here. I need to explain this to..."

The Doctor goes into the TARDIS tears nearly coming out of his eyes. Doctor? Where's Rose?
The Doctor sighs sadly. "She's gone Eta."
You mean dead?
"Not dead. Technically. Her and her family's in another universe."
Both Nomads speak up. You want me to...
The Doctor shakes his head. "No. Her choice. Not ours."
"There's a supernova near the planet Alpha Centauri. Well as near as a supernova can be."
He starts pulling levers. "Chi. The red button please?"
Chi hits the wrong button. The TARDIS flies into a place later known as the Blue Abyss.
This is part of Desden's Infinites idea. He will explain what happens there later.
After the adventure ends the Doctor goes to the supernova and gives a goodbye to Rose.

Lux followed Rey, wordless but with a slight smile on her face.
How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?
The room continued to reassemble itself as the various Champions strode through the portals, either returning to their own homes or venturing forth to find new ones.
As the walls pieced themselves together and returned to a state of spotlessness, a humanoid shadow became visible between the flickering accretion disks of two of those appertures; where this shade had come from was a mystery, for no one was present to serve as its source and the room's lighting should have made the way it appeared on the wall all but impossible under the current circumstances. Perhaps more eerie than the shadow's inexplicable presence, however, was the fact that it seemed mobile to a degree; the proportions of its head shifted ever-so-slightly as Lux walked over to Rey, as if the shade were following her motions, and a small crescent gap formed on what could be considered the lower half of the shadow's face, looking uncannily like a smiling mouth.
From his position on the floor, Lambda glanced up at Rey and Lux. "Why are you not returning? You have earned your freedom." The Danse Macabre Codex
"We'll go ahead guys!"
Durant and Michael saluted Spriggan and the others.
"Not waiting to see if there's gonna be a statue of us defeating Digamma?" Spriggan chuckled.
"Nah." Durant insisted. "We got careers to take care of back in our world."
Michael went ahead first. Durant saluted Mason and said, "It's a pleasure working with another soldier like yourself." The pilot followed Michael behind.
"Sir."
Michael woke up in the front passenger seat in a white unmarked Ford Transit van.
"Must've dozed off, sorry. Go get the G4 recruits ready."
"Yes, sir."
Is it a dream?
Michael asked himself before he slapped his cheeks to make sure he's awake. Afterwards, he stepped out of the van and began to approach the lined up men in suits, ties and Oxford shoes.
"Time to show them what I'm made of." Michael murmured as he gave a smile and fixed his tie.
Michael greeted the recruits when he was in front of them.
"Gentlemen, you represent some of Hong Kong's most elite forces..."
"Durant."
"Hmmm..."
Durant woke up in a cot in Fort Campbell's infirmary, speaking to a fellow 160th SOAR pilot.
"You said you didn't feel well, so some of the guys and I brought you here."
"Thanks." Durant began to sit up. "What's happening now?"
"Commander decided to give you some time off from the time you said you didn't feel well from that fever."
"Alright."
"And your wife's coming to see you. CO told her that you were fine, but insisted to see you a while ago."
Durant smirked. Ain't it all...
Seeing Durant and Michael off, Spriggan approached Luxanna and called her attention.
"Lux. How are you holding up?"

Rey shook his head as he looked at Lambda. "I can't go back home. With these powers, I'd be a freak...with these memories, I'd be considered insane." He glanced around the room. "I wouldn't care about losing my powers...but I don't want to give up memories of the only real friends I've ever had."

Lux looked to Rey at that question, one she wanted to know his answer for herself.
She did not have family, in any measure of the word, nor did she have friends. Like him, this was all she had, and she wanted to keep it.

Bowser, having woken up rigth after Digamma left, had stood of to the side with his arms folded, watching. When the portals opened, he gave a nod of respect towards Rho and Lambda, and entered his portal.

Once Bowser was gone, what was left of Digamma bunched up together into a humaniod form similar to what Digamma had looked like before exploding, that got up and walked over to where the two Nomads lay, both scythe's attached to its back. However, the robes remained grey and blackened, and a faint form of a human skeleton could be seen from various gaps. Itoa's symbol could also be seen on the body's forhead. It held out it's hand, and two hourglasses appeared. It looked at them for a bit, then dismissed them.

Rey shook his head. "If I were going back alone, I wouldn't care even in the slightest. I'd head home without a problem. But if I get home, with these shadow powers...I would be a monster. My family would be afraid of me. The whole world would be afraid of me. And if they brought me down, as soon as I was done, they'd look to the beings who shared any connection with me...my family. My family would be the monster's family."
He shifted his gaze slightly. "And even with what I remember...they'd think I had lost my mind. I'm not the same man I was when this started. They...I wouldn't ask them to accept me like this. Worn down, broken...I couldn't go back to an easy life of celebrity knowing what I know now about my place in the universe without ultimately going insane...and bringing my loved ones down with me."
He shook his head. "It's better if I just disappear."

"I agree partly. Disappear from your world... But reappear in another." Narumi said.
Spriggan listened in on what Rey had said. While part of him wanted to tell the wrestler that he had a wife and kids to take care of, another part of him wants to help him isolate the wrestler from the rest of the world.
What do I tell him?
Lambda stared at Rey in silence for a few moments, his face assembled into as much of a stoic mask as could be managed with his horrendous injuries and his thoughts and emotions inscrutable as he considered what the wrestler had just said.
Almost a minute later, the argent deity finally opened his mouth and spoke in a stern, but otherwise neutral, tone of voice. "You are a brave and selfless man, Mysterio...foolish, perhaps, but brave and selfless nonetheless."
