Yeah, and recurring boss become more of a "out yeah, here come this fucker again..."
I mean I was terrified of nemesis but if you have a magnum and a revolver you can take him down most of time with only seven bullets, making most fight boring.
the only way is indeed change mechanicsm of a fight, nemesis vs jill while she was sick was AWSOME and very terrifying.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"So, question: Does anyone know how ADAM is supposed to be extracted from a Little Sister normally? My headcanon's typically been "there's a rather bulky stomach-pumping machine they use to take it out without killing the Little Sister or turning her back human", but this is never shown.
I suppose there's the (rather terrible) implication that they harvest them after a while. While Fontaine would totally do this, it does seem somewhat wasteful on his end. Also, even in Rapture it's mildly questionable if that would fly. Many in Rapture were uncomfortable with Little Sisters already, but people discussing it tend to treat it more like slavery and the topic of them being killed is seldom brought up. Also, Bioshock 2 (which is admittedly not 100% canon at this point) states that many of them do survive their careers.
Though I will say there's one audio log that seems to support them being killed, though (as well as the rationalization for it). Namely, it's this one: https://bioshock.fandom.com/wiki/Gatherer%27s_Vulnerability
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"Some sort of energy transfer which is done by touch
New theme music also a boxSo according to one of Tenenbaum's diaries (https://bioshock.fandom.com/wiki/Mass_Producing_ADAM ), ADAM is normally extracted by the Little Sisters eating and vomiting. This vomit contains a large dose of ADAM due to the implanted slug. Interestingly Tenenbaum wanted the Little Sisters to be rendered in an vegetative state. A fun video on why you could't survive Rapture's civil war,as resident or someone who came there
or as comment said 'Your not the main character'
New theme music also a boxI've watched a few of those - and he refuses to do a video on "Why you wouldn't survivie Katamari Damacy" and usually does all of the zombie apocalypse works.
At least Bioshock was kind of different.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!... why wouldn't I survive Katamari? Everyone's alive in those balls and physics makes so little sense I have no little reason to believe I wouldn't still be alive as a star.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them....fair point.
Nevertheless it would be a pretty awful existence. And that's assuming that those people are in a breathable atmosphere when rolled up and forcibly transformed into constellations.

Netflix just announced that they're working on a BioShock movie!
And funny story, I did a tiny little tweet about how I'm hoping against hope that Guillermo Del Toro will have some micro-involvement in the movie...and it's rapidly becoming my most-liked tweet period.
Like...what?!
Gosh, if there was ever a time to trot out their interactive-movie technology it's now.

For Bioshock? It talks an awful big game about player moral choice but it really doesn’t stand out in that respect in actual practice.
Bioshock 4 has been delayed to 2024. 'The company lost about 40 employees, including leads. 2K is not satisfied with the project's results and pace.' They still plan to release it by the end of 2024. They said it's not in development hell but a 'slight restructuring'. The studio has already started hiring new employees.
Source pls?
Its their first post here, and googling their entire post reveals it's likely an internal leak
New theme music also a boxI replayed the entire first game, start to finish, last night.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?Excellent game with a great story, fun gameplay, and amazing atmosphere. I’m doing Bioshock 2 now. Not sure which is better. Bioshock 1 has a better story (though 2 has a good story too) and I prefer its high class settings to Bioshock 2 mostly sticking to the slums of Rapture (though that’s more a matter of taste). Bioshock 2, however, is a massive improvement gameplay wise. Both games are better than Infinite in terms of gameplay and story though.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?Bioshock 2 cuts out a lot of the waste that Bioshock 1 had (no useless items for the U-Invent, more diverse Splicer encounters than just Baby Jane every few levels), but is overall less ambitious.
Given how much Bioshock Infinite’s lack of direction during development shows in the final product that’s not a bad thing.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?Infinite really screws up on the whole supply thing. It's far too generous with its ammo, and since you can only carry two weapons, that's all the less opportunity for you to use all that ammo. Plus, Elizabeth showers you with more even when you're going out of your way to use what you can, instead of providing more needed Salts and Health. At least Burial at Sea: Part One is a lot better with this. Too bad it's so short.
I need to add a video game example for Springtime for Hitler regarding Bioshock. Ken Levine said that he hated choices in video games and it was only because of Executive Meddling that he added it - so he chose the most ridiculous, binary choice he could think of, "Do you murder CHILDREN or not?" Certain everyone would understand it was a ridiculous absurd choice.
Then he found massive numbers of media outlets discussing the importance of the choice and how it was good to have it for the themes.
When as far as Ken was concerned, the entire point of the game is you have no choice because it's a video game and you go kill people just because a voice tells you too.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Infinite wants to have its cake and eat it too since it only allows you carry two weapons yet forces you to buy expensive upgrades for each weapon individually. As a result, a system meant to encourage experimentation just ends with me using the carbine and shotgun because both are Boring, but Practical, cover each other’s weaknesses, and overall are just good for just about anything. If they had a flat upgrade system that apply to all weapons or even allowed you to refund/swap upgrades then it would encourage you to experiment without forcing you to commit to weapons. Hell they got it right with giving you access to each vigor in one playthrough (something the first two games didn’t do and discouraged experimentation and encouraged just using the safe options) yet they massively dropped the ball on weapon upgrades, which were both free and either allowed you to upgrade everything or upgrade most of your arsenal in the previous games.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?If they allowed the player to sell ammo that wouldn't be so much of a problem. For Vigors I usually stuck to Murder of Crows and Shock Jockey.
Does anyone actually spare Stanley Poole from Bioshock 2 for reasons aside from achievements? I personally gave him a taste of insect swarm. Sparing Gilbert Alexander should be the evil choice. I always spare Grace Holloway.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?
Oh goody.
(2) I'm still ticked about that. I read a Game Informer interview that made the concept of a Nemesis/Alien like Big Sister enticing. Some predator who gets stronger and stronger, and you can never truly defeat them - you play as a Big Daddy, but now there's something that can take out a Big Daddy with relative ease.
Then it turns into a series of repeat mini-boss fights that stop being hard after the 2nd or 3rd battle.
