Whichever it is, that "publically attacking Ray Speltzer" scene must have been there for a reason. Also, that scene where she is buying gas for Travis's burning.

What if Laguerta decides that Deb is the killer, and goes to confront her while Deb is doing something innocuous, and does the "Surprise motherfucka" scene?

Do you mean "incriminating" instead of "innocuous", Mullon? I mean I'd laugh if La Guerta tried to arrest Deb for gardening or walking or something, but it's hardly dramatic...

I meant innocuous.

Man these latest episodes have been delicious. Perfect way to screw over the characters so that it doesn't feel to the viewer that the writer is just messing with them for the DRAMA.

While the new connections between characters were rather sudden and might in a worse series seem forced, here they grew naturally out of the situation and thus enhance the drama rather than subtract from it. Much love.

Completely on aside: Am I the only one bothered by this Dexter's Disciples thin they've been advertising lately? I mean I haven't checked it out to learn what it is, but just on face value I find any alternative reality/fan club thing where you become a serial killer's disciple to be pretty disturbing. Maybe it's completely innocent but this advertisement makes it sound way too creepy.

Well, that conversation finally happened. And it was as uncomfortable as I imagined it would be, but I wanted a conclusion.

Meanwhile, I wish Dexter and Isaac could be friends.

I'm surprised they're playing the kidnapping ploy so soon next week. Season's moving quickly.

Kinda hope that Hannah stays on next season, given that they're probably not bringing back Julia Styles. Also, next season has got to be the last, right? We're heading into end-game territory here. The supporting cast are moving towards places they're not coming back from, and the main cast are already way past that point.

Surprised they didn't make out. Does Michael C. Hall have crazy hot chemistry with all the leads this season, or what!

That scene between Dexter and Isaac was amazing stuff. There absolutely needs to be an alternate universe where they're best friends.

My friend thinks that Isaac's into Dexter now even if he wants to kill him.

I wanted to mention this but I wonder where they 're going with the sudden introduction of the fire killer guy -.-

Also, since this is the last season before the FINAL season, does anyone think that Dexter will be caught in the season finale? Maybe have a trial or something in season 8? No reason for thinking this really except LaGuerta's special project.

That this is the penultimate season, I'm wondering whether they'll keep Dex's gf around. Hoping so.

It would be nice on some level, seeing as how they ditched Lumen and all but I'm not too attached to her myself.

Though, she does hold her own and that's something I like in a woman

LaGuerta should have gone after Dexter herself, then maybe she could have gotten him. But she didn't, and it'll lead to some contrived way for him to escape.

We don't actually know if this is the penultimate season, only that there will be AT LEAST one more season that was already ordered.

It's looking a bit dangerous for LaGuerta seeing how she's pretty much figured things out. Probably Matthews' will unknowingly let Dexter know that Maria's on to him.

Hannah trying to put the plant back in it's pot was heartbreaking.

Also, nice to see that Debra is taking some Xanax to cope.
