I stick to Marvel mostly. While the Joker Immunity is there, it's less noticeable due to the massive amounts of overlap our villains and heroes have; instead of breaking out of jail to menace Batman again, we might have a villain who fights Spider-Man, then goes on the run, and turns up three years later to battle the X-Men. We also have a pretty decent rate of villain mortality, including big-name villains like the Green Goblin, Apocalypse, or Thanos.
The downside there is that some of our writers treat death like a jail to break out of, so there's that.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.That's what happens when you have a collaborative universe and a bunch of writers using other people's characters. It's why I prefer independent self-contained comics and stick to adaptations of Marvel and DC's stuff.

Will Rock Lobster get the chance to punch this guy in the face? I sure hope so.
Oh really when?Oh, that's great.
That is fucking fantastic.
Turns out, encouraging your soldiers to show defiance in the face of authority might not have been the brightest choice.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I'm pretty sure I had the same reaction Rock did in the last panel.
Also, I admire Squid's effort in making sure strips are completed on time and in color according to the schedule she set.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI think everyone feels like punching that guy in the face. No one's been manly enough to suggest it.
Praise be to Lord Helix
Oh really when?Haha, it took me a second to recognize Paul. He's awesome.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Who's the bullied guy? Also from the other comic?

Bullied guy was Marcus Fenix from Gears Of War. As for the other guy, read the blurb, and/or the post immediately before yours.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyPaul gets back and runs into the other two cosplaying as Red and Omastar.
I have a message from another time...I kinda think that this is the reason for Commander's existence.
Hehe. Always did like Fanboys.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.That was cute. That last panel was all sorts of d'aww.
Rock is a reasonable guy. Link may be too long to work properly.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyCommander Badass continues to remain the most well-adjusted mentally comic book hero out there. Sad, really. But awesome as well.
There's nothing scarier than the unknown.
If that's not a How I Met Your Mother reference, I dunno what is.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."It's just a thing. Family Guy had an episode on the same thing, for example.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy
If anything, it just gives the villains a slightly easier time hiding and makes Superman need to use his brain a little more. It doesn't take away his super strength or super speed or immunity to bullets.
I guess I am just tired of Joker Immunity and would like to see new villains that aren't an eternally smiling maniac.
