I'll go with the other direction - there's a distinct possibility that Ace overdresses just to get at Rock.

Man, I would laugh so hard if that turned out to be the case. Everyone dresses as trashy as they can to f*ck with Ace, who in turn dresses as dapper as humanly possible because he knows it pisses them off enough that they dress trashy to f*ck with him.

That very much seems like something they would all do. Anyway, after watching Kingsman I am in full support of dapper umbrella combat shenanigans.

Also, the whole "coat draped over shoulders as a cape" is aesthetic, but not very comfortable.

Anyone else curious how much Rock (et al) would have to weigh, considering all the modifications?

Rock looks like he'd be in the what, 100-110kg range on physique alone? And didn't they give a figure for Tank's weight at some point?

I think the big unknown for Rock's weight is the subdermal plating that TIALS stuck in him. It wouldn't surprise me if he was north of 300 pounds just based on that. As for Tank, for some reason, I think "500 kg" was mentioned regarding him at some point.

I would say something spiteful like, "Rest in pieces, 2017, and may 2018 rise from the ashes!" but here's the thing. Everything that made 2017 shitty is still in play in 2018. Meanwhile, every bit of hope promising that 2018 might not be so terrible got its start in 2017. 2017 was only bad because it had to carry out the shit 2016 did to us, and it set in motion some things that might just help us fix some of those.

So you know what? Rest well, 2017. You may not have been the best of years but given the circumstances, you've done more than could reasonably have been expected.

Remember when 2016 ended and people were like "that year was so awful!"? Yeah, time doesn't work like that, and perspective is important. We've just gotta keep doing the good that we can.

What are you talking about? Of course time works like that. Every year on January 1st, a new season begins with different conflicts and new character dynamics. Sometimes the writing and production staff changes out, which can result in some wild differences with previous seasons.

The Myth Arc's been pretty shit recently, but I think the production team have gotten the memo that people are dissatisfied with it and so we might see an Author's Saving Throw or two coming down the pipe in the 2018 season.

I've just been trying to be cast for a Big Damn Heroes moment, but the director's taking this whole setup kind of far. I don't need to be a main character, or even have things reach their Darkest Hour. It'd be nice to just be a One-Scene Wonder.

Personally, I've been working on following the advice of another time traveler and will focus on being excellent to my fellow humans. Whether or not I party on is another matter; I'm not big on being social.
