Interesting read, but the dig a Trevor Noah was really weird. Especially since the article linked specifically said "he was okay, and we fully expect him to get better and ultimately people may like him just as much as Stewart." Also, he's been host for two weeks and most reviews seem to be trending upward if anything.

I get it. Trump is awful. I agree wholeheartedly. If he was murdered by his wig in his sleep tonight, I'd be ecstatic. I also get that he's an easy target, and I love him getting lampooned on the Daily Show or Last Week Tonight.
But Cracked... you... aren't really the place for this. Not only do you not really understand the issues super well, it's just odd for a comedy website to give half-assed political commentary like this.

They should take Last Week Tonight route and stop actually talking as if Trump's candidature was relevant. The elections are over an year away, and Trump might not even be on the running. Sure, take pot shots at him whenever he says something particularly stupid, but just stop acting as if he was an actual candidate.

Trump has been leading the Republican primaries for a long time now. He's still sitting pretty at the top of the charts.
There is a strong chance he will win the Republican primary and become their candidate for the 2016 election. He's not just some crazy yahoo spouting off bullshit, he's a crazy yahoo that a significant portion of the country is ready to vote for.

We're so far out that it's pretty unlikely. And he's already losing steam. He's winning in polls because he's the only one that 90% of Americans have heard of so they go "oh, yeah. That guy. I know him" and check the box.
And like I said, I'm not averse to Trump jokes. The Daily Show did something not dissimilar that I thought was an absolute riot because it didn't take itself too seriously.
Yeah, I know. But there is still months before the primaries even start. And over an year until the elections. There are better and more relevant things to talk right now. Cracked is focusing way too much of its articles on him. It is more likely it will burn people out before the subject actually becomes really important.
Well, to be fair, Trump jokes are fun. The guy is so absurd it is hard not to laugh, specially now he is still far away to be able to do damage. It is just that Cracked is burning the joke to the ground.
