A girl asked Kuchiki out… what was she thinking exactly? ò.Ô It lasted 3 minutes but still…
Well, Ogiue won't do a love story in the end X) But, wait, didn't she have a crush on a boy before things went horribly wrong?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. Here is GenshiGrads, a sort of Abridged Series for Genshiken.

73: I feel you,Yajima...
Ohno's there,they should ask her.
While high school Yoshitake is adorable...
...blushing Hato is even more adorable. I want to know!
Kuchiki is the ruin of joy.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.
I think it's because Ohno herself only started to have a relationship in college.
Would have been good to hear, one way or the other.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.Either this chapter is early or 73 was so late, because ch. 74 is out! *yaaay*
There was no part of this that I didn't like. Worldbuilding (Ogiue's manga is named. All the established relationships given a showcase. Patented Genshiken awkwardness. More about Hato's romance. BL sparkle-vision. Automatic BL manga.
About that - I think the fact that all the relationships are being shown is priming us for a big revelation at the festival.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. This last chapter was pretty amazing. Ogiue has probably had the most character development out of any other Genshiken character. Well, okay, she and Madarame are about equal.
The only thing I regret in Nidaime is that it pretty much became "Society for the study of BL manga". Other than that the end of the chapter made me laugh my ass off. X)
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.^Yeah, they need to cover more otaku culture,I didn't notice that. But where BL clashes with the male members, there's a whole new world of awkward.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.It seems like the whole focus on Otaku culture fell by the wayside after Volume 6 (And it was most prevalent in the first three volumes). From then on the story focused more and more on the character's relationships to each other. The Otaku culture stuff was always there, just not the main focus of the manga.
It became a manga about "Characters who are Otaku (Except Saki) and their relationships with each other" rather than a manga about "Otaku Culture".
Nidaime has picked up a bit more of the Otaku culture again, but now it is focued heavily on BL stuff.

Spotted Flower page created.
Thank you, I saw that earlier.
Chapter 75 is up at Anonspore's blog.
*is trying to keep all the new characters straight*
Yajima - Mimasaka
Yoshitake - Sawatari and Fukada
Hato - Kon and the other one (Googly-eyes and Shark-eyes respectively - seriously, they're freaking me out). Plus Hato's sempai. Awwwk-warrd...
Angela was cute, here. I think that's the first time she's been drawn with realistic features and expressions. Usually she's doll-like.

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.I think not all the new characters will be important, so you don't have to spend so much mental effort on it. (Heck, there are even helpful labels during the cosplay scene.)
But hey, seems we're finally in for a reveal of Hato's past romantic(?) interest! This should be intriguing.
(Also interesting to note that his favoured crossdressing appearance is modelled after her. I guess he really does feel strongly about it.)

Chapter update. Poor Hato.
Yajima cosplaying as Hirano… somehow I suspected this.
So Hato liked that girl so much he literally became her? ò.Ô Well, the real one's character is completely different from his "inside girl" but that's interesting…
And yeah, Susie is surprisingly cute here.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.78 is out. Those of a weak heart, nervous disposition or Saki/Madarame shipping tendencies should exercise caution.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.It was funny in a way how Saki figured out that Madarame has gathered quite a "harem" around him. Unfortunately, she DIDN'T pick up (or just didn't want to admit) that the reason he's ignoring all of them is because of HER.
Some Commenter over on Sporeblog thinks Saki may be pregnant, pointing to page eleven of this chapter where Hato puts his hand to his stomach as a sign that Hato senses it and to them Saki's dress looks like a maternity dress. Thoughts?

That's kind of over-stretching things a bit, I think. Though, Saki coming out and saying she's pregnant will probably make Madarame realize what we've wanting him to realize all along. And maybe move on in the process.
Yeah, I will believe it when I see it.
So, who do you think Madarame will end up with, if anyone? I am not certain myself, I think either Keiko or Hato are the two most likely people.
Angela or maybe even Sue are also possibilities, although Angela would have to take a much gentler approach to wooing Madarame and Sue would have to communicate more clearly.

Saki got that thing right: Madarame HAS attracted a fair bit of admirers, but he hasn't allowed himself to notice at all. If and when he finally moves on (from Saki), he might notice that, despite him being the alpha geek of the old guard, is actually not so bad off in terms of possible relationship choices after all.
The series has been pushing the Hato ship hard though (note all the cracks Saki has been giving during the chapter), but I won't count Angela out yet.
