First, you should have finished that with "Depending on your answer, I may have to kick your ass!". Second, she may or may not be in absolute terms (I for one never heard of her before writing Jo Jo led me to her page and not, you know, Jojo, but I live in Europe), but she's definitely less talked about here.
Also, we do use abbreviations for works with an Overly Long Title: compare A Christmas Carol to its actual title, for instance.

Jojo isn't an abbreviation for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure but JJBA is. If you want to get a redirect for the workpage get that one instead since I don't think it's used for anything else.

I've seen it in the covers of Jump a lot, but it's the first time I find out the name. What is that thing about?
Anyway, I checked, and there are longer-running series than Jojo, such as Doraemon.

"Jojo" is the stage name, based on the first name, of a musician who has been around for over 10 years. She isn't "two-bit".
As stated on the page for the Permanent Red Link Club and elsewhere, the site tries to stay away from links using acronyms and abbreviations, because they could be used for more than one thing.

That's one credit I'll give it, it doesn't proliferate the confusion people like to use when referring to Attack on Titan by its Japanese acronym (And no, I won't use it because the only time I use SNK is for the game company from the late 70s. AOT 4 lyfe and I'm not fond of that anime anyway)

Funny thing Valentine's stand is called D 4 C in All Star Battle's English version. One of his attack names is the full name of the stand so they changed it to. "Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price."
