@Wanderlust: personal preferences? Do you want me to dig up statistics? Compare audiences, sales, wicks, and so on? And who is this we who doesn't like abbreviations? You mean "we, the administration of the site"?
We? Wheee... I'm just kidding around. But look, to begin with, if you search for Jojo here on the forums, you won't find a single thread about the singer.
Though there might be material for a fanfic there... How about it? How do we put her in the Joestar family tree? What would her stand be?

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."She's not on TV Tropes forums therefore she's not famous" is that what you're saying?
First, you should have finished that with "Depending on your answer, I may have to kick your ass!". Second, she may or may not be in absolute terms (I for one never heard of her before writing Jo Jo led me to her page and not, you know, Jojo, but I live in Europe), but she's definitely less talked about here.
Also, we do use abbreviations for works with an Overly Long Title: compare A Christmas Carol to its actual title, for instance.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Jojo isn't an abbreviation for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure but JJBA is. If you want to get a redirect for the workpage get that one instead since I don't think it's used for anything else.
Also, calm down with the memes and hostile attitude Handle. Not every post you make has to have a meme in it.

What memes? Also, what hostile attitude?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.x9 I do believe the longest running manga was Kochikame.

"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueI've seen it in the covers of Jump a lot, but it's the first time I find out the name. What is that thing about?
Anyway, I checked, and there are longer-running series than Jojo, such as Doraemon.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Near as I can figure, it's a comedy about a bumbling policeman.
月を見るたび思い出せIt's so popular, the main character (Ryotsu) has even had cameos in other Jump series. For example, look back at the first episode of Stardust Crusaders. Remember that unibrowed cop? Eeyup.

"Jojo" is the stage name, based on the first name, of a musician who has been around for over 10 years. She isn't "two-bit".
As stated on the page for the Permanent Red Link Club and elsewhere, the site tries to stay away from links using acronyms and abbreviations, because they could be used for more than one thing.
Oh, that's the name of his series? Huh. He shows up a lot.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyThat's one credit I'll give it, it doesn't proliferate the confusion people like to use when referring to Attack on Titan by its Japanese acronym (And no, I won't use it because the only time I use SNK is for the game company from the late 70s. AOT 4 lyfe and I'm not fond of that anime anyway)
No, she's not two-bit; I apologize and take that back.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.70's? Don't you mean 90's?
The name of the series is Kochikame.

I gathered from the earlier post. I just realized who you were talking about based on the description from that post.
Though the song and video aren't nearly as entertainingly fabulous, the song for Stand Proud has grown on me.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyOoh, thanks for posting that. Been wanting to here the full version of that.
OH MY GOD YES YES YES 8D *loops video for forever and a half*
but HOW?Funny thing Valentine's stand is called D 4 C in All Star Battle's English version. One of his attack names is the full name of the stand so they changed it to. "Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price."
You look happy, I can change that if you want.Kind of makes him seem like a prostitute.
A love that crushes like a mace.I think FA 3 RP was quite a nice name.
To be fair, so did the original name, in a certain light. Though it mostly suggested mercenary work.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. The new name is absolutely hilarious, I think they're at least trying to throw a lampshade on it.
Wow, I forgot how depressing Jonathan's death was...
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
